Then buckle down and be grateful that this bounty is thinning the ranks of said powertraders hiding behind your hard-won RP. Maybe they'll actually learn that even if one is on his trade ship earning money, he is obliged to roleplay if interacted with rather than choose to ignore and run away silently.
I'm sorry, but I'm highly critical of trade characters using a 'neutral' IFF to coast through play sessions, relying on diplomacies they do nothing to contribute to, only using the tag as a 'Get Out Of Having To Roleplay' card so they can run max-profit runs and quickdock to their heart's content.
There is a silver lining. This is chasing off faction freeloaders. And heaven forbid that peoples' well-established characters don't get their trees shaken once in a while rather than just shaking fingers warningly at pirates who gun down an indy who can only type "NEUTRAL DONT SHOOT" at Hessians as he runs Super Alloys into Rheinland.

the QCP thing does not help the zoners, it twists the zoner RP.
if i "thought" that the RP of the BAF was bad, it wouldn t be good to gather some bullys and hang around their places shooting them down till they give up and leave the game. - and bath in the sunshine of self rightousness saying "all i did was weeding out the bad crops - you should THANK me!"
again - roleplay should work on both ends. - and when i notice that the other side i try to roleplay with ( in the very case i am actually interested in roleplaying and not in satisfying my personal grudge ) doesn t like it.... i stop. i don t insist on playing. when i see that my attacks, NO MATTER how i justify them in RP causes only bad feelings, i stop - that is the sensible thing to do. if i fail that - i fail a very important social lesson.

I'm not telling you cant shoot at Zoners. Well you can but you might have to live with Concequenses. As in no No-Fire Zone for you. You can also be stated as unlawful by your Government. Things as killing a Zoner with Cardamine on board are fine with me, but me for example: I am flying around Sirius, enjoying my Neutrality, talking to people I never talked to, seeing things i would never see if i wouldnt make a Character for that. Yesterday i was talking to a SCRA, and first i thought he is going to shoot me down. But he warned me of the System i was going to Jump into. I talked to him, he talked to me.
Why put a Bounty on a Faction which is Neutral to everyone and having no RP in the Post? It's so confusing. I dont know what people made wrong that people but Bounties on all of us.
Yes, Powertraders are mostly not Roleplaying and then moaning about being Shot Down in front of Alaska. But you cant go say: "Zoners are Powertraders, let's put a Bounty on them" Which the first Bounty Post reallly looked like.

I can't even read past page 1 of the whiners trying to justify undoing years of established RP in the name of "I wanna do it no matter what's been done before or how it upsets the balance."
First of all, I'll point out that I've not had a hand in these doings from either side. I wasn't in the server at the time. My views on this are not biased from a victim's point of view at all, simply pointing out obvious things that everyone should already know.
Game Mechanics:
- Bretonians don't go to Omega-49. Period. The Bounty thread tried claiming O-49 as a Bretonian system and it is not. Bretonians go to Dublin to fight Mollys and are too busy with them to explore further. They just don't have any other viable route they'd use. Poole? that's a Guard system that the buccaneers shouldn't have access to.
- Buccaneer ZOI is the Tau systems. O-49 is not in the Taus.
- Zoners are a LAWFUL faction and, therefore, any bounty placed on them is UNLAWFUL. (The bounty was claimed to be a lawful bounty.) This would be the same as if someone were to place a "lawful" bounty on, say, the LPI because "they have a history of taking bribes and being corrupt." (which they do)
- Zoners are not, as much, providing safe havens as they are keeping the peace in their little corner of space. By the way, did you also make a "lawful" bounty on IMG players? They own FP4 and there are missions for Liberty Rogues, among others, on that base.

As a group they're fully autonomous because they've been exiled (and the government wants nothing to do with them because they're liabilities) and as players they're autonomous, because, well - you try controlling Blunt. Deal with the people that are causing the problems, not others that had nothing to do with it.

2) Stop besmirching the Buccaneer's good name. You want the Privateers/QCP.
3) Zoners are a lawful faction in much the same way as the Junkers are. They provide safe-havens for criminals, they fence stolen goods from said criminals, they resupply said criminals, they smuggle, they breach embargoes - the list goes on. The Zoners' 'lawful' status is arguable at best. Just because you don't kill people, doesn't stop you being a criminal.
