I remember the great chats on Skype years ago with Doug and the others, as well the great posts and game time. I'm gonna truly miss you as well man, and I hope our paths cross again in some way shape or form . . Mal - ophidian - 11-18-2011 I just heard about this... Sad. Back in 2009, I had several dialogues with him where I acted as a middle man in between Mal and other faction leaders. Was an interesting type, Mal was. He wasn't the best friend of all but he was a nice guy in my experiences. May he find rest in his eternity. Mal - Tigger - 11-18-2011 Mal's sister asked me to please forward this to the community: http://www.meaningfulfunerals.net/fh/obitu...amp;fh_id=13395 ![]() Quote:Doug passed away unexpectedly November 4, 2011 of cardiac and respiratory problems at a hospital in Morelia, Mexico, near the city he called his home, Patzcuaro, Mexico with his sisters by his side. Anyone that knew Doug knew he was an intelligent, eccentric free spirit who loved to travel and hated to be tied down. He had friends and acquaintances all over the world and definitely lived life on his own terms. He moved to Patzcuaro, Mexico about 2 years ago and fell in love with the city, the people and everything about the simple lifestyle he enjoyed there. He is now flying high, no longer tied to a body that was failing him and surely enjoying new adventures every day. I'll be there for the services and due to travel will be offline most of those few days. Mal - Daedric - 11-19-2011 I'll smoke one in your name hoss. Hope your enjoying yourself where ever you are. Mal - ioha - 11-23-2011 Mal was one of the many great engimas I encountered here at Disco back in 2007. At first, I was wondering about all those fnords and kallistis. But with each day passing, my respect for him and his dedication towards this community grew and grew. He was a great and especially fun man to have around. Be well, wherever you are now. Godspeed and 23's. Mal - abysswolf - 12-01-2011 its allways a bad day when a friend dies it feels so empty... |
