Thank you everyone - Elsdragon - 11-12-2009 Quote:I WROTE A PROGRAM THAT ENFORCES CARGOHOLDS! I CAN SET IT UP TO DO NASTY THINGS TO PLAYERS WHO DISOBEY LUL NO RP FACISIM IS LOSE Thank you everyone - traku - 11-12-2009 I think fuel consumption is a very good idea, like the degrading of the crew of the ships if there is no food or water (and of course the necessity to have spaceship crew on-board in gunboat and bigger ships). That's my view, it means more RP. ...ah, a clarification, Freelancer IS a space-life simulator, so the most realistic it is, the better is the gameplay experience!!! ...or is better we move to other pew pew oriented mods/servers Thank you everyone - JeffreyT - 11-12-2009 Something that people need to remember is whenever roleplay inhibits gameplay we have a serious problem. I think this would be a situation in which roleplay would inhibit gameplay. Not saying it wouldn't be interesting, but it would be a pain in the ass in so many different situations especially for casual players. People who have millions stored away won't have a problem with it. Personally I have never owned a transport over 3000 cargo and probably never will. I trade only when I am flat broke or want to start a new character project. This means I have to do something I don't enjoy more often to support me flying my police fighter or my freelancer gunboat. That ruins my gameplay. I guess you can counter my previous statement with a "cry more" statement, but here the facts: I work three jobs and when I play I want to do stuff I enjoy.
