Hellfire Legion Message Dump (AO) - Hellfire Legion - 01-05-2012 ![]() [font=Agency FB] Today forces belonging to the Liberty Navy's Primary Fleet, presumably under the command of none other than Fleet Admiral Hale or the notorious Commodore Robinson attempted to ambush and destroy Task-Force Warhammer's flagship, the Ven'Gyr. A trap had been in place, and the Ven'Gyr, operating without escort, saw itself facing down the Primary Fleet's Battle-Cruisers Mount Hood and Plymouth Rock, the Siege Cruiser Little Bighorn, and Secondary Fleet's Rooivalk after having been intercepted. As fortune had it, Fleet Admiral Steele's maneuvering prior to the encounter had bought Legion forces enough to time to scramble for a counter-attack while the Ven'Gyr was taking concentrated artillery-fire from the enemy detachment, unable to do anything but force one of the primary fleet Battle-Cruisers to withdraw and resupply, with only Major Hughes' fighter present and denying enemy movement to the best of his ability. But woe upon those who anger the Legion, the vile and the cruel who try to poison us and our brothers. For we are many. Reinforcements in shape of the Assault Destroyer Abaddon, under command of Fleet Captain Ringo, the Lake Badwater, under command of Fleet Captain Dale, the Pilots First Class Cage and Twitch arrived, and hell followed with them, ensuring not just the survival of the Ven'Gyr, but also the utter annihilation of the Mount Hood, Plymouth Rock, Rooivalk and a stray Primary Fleet Guardian caught in the crossfire. A tactical retreat to the Colorado system followed, with Pilot First Class Twitch keeping the present Fleet Admiral Hale busy for the time. Fleet Admiral Steele later remarked that he'd rather not get Fleet Admiral Hale shot down, as it would be much preferable if he heard naught but the screams of the crew-members he sent to die at the Legion's hands and watched powerlessly as Liberty's might fell. While Legion High Command doesn't share this sentiment, it has long since been known that the gloves have come off, and it has later been demonstrated in this engagement, as later on another enemy detachment pursued the present Legion forces into Colorado. This ended with the demise of the Secondary Fleet Assault Carrier Expedition, and a LPI Officer shot down by Pilot First Class Twitch. Furthermore, High Command welcomes Pilot First Class Katya Vaschenko into the Legion's ranks. Vaschenko is hereby assigned to Task-Force Warhammer following final indoctrination, and we hope that you will integrate yourself quickly in the Legion. Legion High Command has also evaluated recent performances of several officers. As a result, promotions are in order. Grace will inform you all in the next Legion-wide transmission. Hellfire Legion Message Dump (AO) - Blighter - 01-05-2012 ![]() [font=Microsoft Sans Serif] Much to my artificial self's chagrin it falls to the 'I' to promote some of your biological selves and allow you to advance in rank with all the privileges that come with doing so. [color=#FFBB00]Fortunately the carcasses of Pilots First Class Abel Cage and Richard Twitch have proven themselves more than capable recently, and as a result my artificial self is in agreement with High Command's decision to promote your biological selves to the rank of Lieutenant. Congratulations on being less worthless than some of your fellow rotten meat-bags. Continuing that trend, Fleet Captain Guy Dale is hereby promoted to the rank of Fleet Commander. Your carcass has more than once shown its aptitude in the fields of combat performance, field command and raw obedience, owing to that thing residing inside your not-so-hollow skull which you refer to as a "brain" being more capable and useful than that of the average carcass. As a result of Fleet Admiral Steele's recommendation however my artificial self has undertaken an extensive analysis of your actions in the recent encounter against hostile forces in New York, and after evaluating all necessary evidence the 'I' has come to the conclusion that you are more than qualified for the Golden Halo, as without your timely intervention the Ven'Gyr would have fallen to the Primary Fleet. Steele's biological self has requested to undertake the ceremony himself. As a result your biological self is ordered to be present aboard the Ven'Gyr at 2400 hours to attend it. All Legionnaires assigned to Task-Force Warhammer who are not on duty at the time are welcome to attend it, together with the following feast the Fleet Admiral's biological self will certainly have laid out. Fleet Commander Markus Brass reporting in. We received a report on two hostile Rogue destroyers that were causing trouble, our task was simple, find and destroy them. I took command of the Spleenflash and along with Last Sunrise, we began searching for them. They were finally spotted near Manhattan where they were destroyed. Sunrise suffered some damages but atleast we got the job done. Libera Te Ex Infernis, Brass out.

I encountered two Red Hessians. One a bomber and the other a gunship. I have no Idea what they were doing in Magellan, but what I do know is that they managed their way through Vespucci into Magellan, this is where I intercepted them. They had jumped into Magellan as I arrived, at the jumphole they acted as if nothing was amiss. They thought nothing of barging in, nor of the repercussions. I informed them that I would not allow them to leave the area. They attempted to flee and I disrupted their cruise engines. Following this, the Hessian gunship opened fire without warning but I was able to dodge most of the badly aimed shots with little damage to my Prossecutor. I requested reinforcements, which arrived in the form of Wilson Carse and the Manticore. The Hessians then attempted to claim that I had wrongfully and without reason attacked them. I then presented proof that their allaby was a lie. Their respective deaths followed shortly after. Major Ross "Salt" Keil out. 123518237578126378162487162378621783464518204895........... With the upgrades and equipment changes that the Last Sunrise has
received, I felt it to be appropriate to test it against a pair of Rogue Scylla's that were getting raid to push to Manhattan. With Fleet Captain Carse and PFC Abel Cage in bombers as my backup. Said Scylla's were no match for the groups combined fire, and they both soon found themselves in the fires of hell. Or their ships exploding into smithereens. Regardless, the pair of bombers fanned out to find new targets, and quickly found a trio of Gunboats. One, the Admiral.Insanity docked before it sustained major damage. Another, one that the name escapes from me. (It had the word Gold in it, if it helps) It Was destroyed, as well as the last named Ascension. However, as we scanned for more targets, a unexpected ION Storm hit the area, and we soon RTB'ed. Attachments: ### Anders out. Hellfire Legion Message Dump (AO) - Rommie - 01-07-2012 This is Fleet Commander Guy Dale Reporting.
At 2250 SMT I responded to a distress call from HFB Polyphemus, at the time having been discovered while operating inside New York space, shortly after destroying the LNS-Colorado.Springs Dreadnought. Sadly, by the time I had reached the area, I caught HFB Polyphemus on fire, and saw it succumbing to explosions shortly after. I retreated to a safe distance and called for backup, then proceeded to Manhattan traffic area, where I waited for the arrival of reinforcements, composed of HFGB Emperor, and we promptly began purging the area. We had already destroyed a LPI Spatial, under the very weird name of Drek'Thar, by the time Major Jason Hughes showed up in his personal Prosecutor. As we finished with the spatial, the nearby Liberty Assault Battlecruiser opened fire, along with every other police fatty and navy officer. We engaged and destroyed RexxaR, another Spatial with a weird name. Liberty's been having quite a lot of weird people immigrating lately. The spatial being destroyed shortly after, we encountered another LPI Spatial under the very weird name of Drek'Thar, possibly his twin brother. Oh and a much more normal Dan Wheeler, who deserves the honorable mention for lasting for 10 whole seconds from the time HFGB Emperor had began firing, to the time he was floating in his capsule. The second Drek'Thar followed shortly after, and we were joined by HFGB Undaunted. Having being accompanied by the HFGB Undaunted now, we decided to eliminate the big fish, LABC BastiBast22. Prime example of how the Navy is running out of name ideas. And good ship crew. He didn't last very long, as I'd imagine that by that time those gunners were very asleep. I even believe one of them decided to make the Flak Cannon controls his pillow, for he was shrouded in sparkles for the battle. Well not really a battle, because he died too, shortly after. With that done, the only thing that looked at us funny were two Rogue Scyllas, parked proudly in front of Manhattan. We gave them too a good run for their lives, with Undaunted keeping 'A_Bloody_Joke' busy while the rest of us were smashing up 'Forest_Gump'. I have to say I liked the Rogue crews more. Much more dynamic, even under obvious illegal alcohol levels. As we had soon finished trimming the Forest, the Bloody Joke got its ass whooping, sadly loosing Major Hughes during this. I tractored his pod, and gave him a good yell-at. Done and Done. RTB'd and had a drink. Dale out. Hellfire Legion Message Dump (AO) - Soul Reaper - 01-08-2012 ![]() Subject: Combat & Status Report Lieutenant Williams here, I'll be quick, have to go wash my Prosecutor. I scrambled to an emergency transmission, something about needing fighters at the California gate in New York, had to take the lanes to get there quick enough, nothing had the guts to stop me. I had just got there, and was told to stand by as Lieutenant Anderson was fighting a bomber, a few minutes later the bomber actually got a lucky shot and ripped Anderon in half, pod recovered. I was ordered to engage and I did so, with our forces firing some blind shots at the target from time to time. Was difficult and took time as I had to evade once my shields were gone, but I took him down. Was heavily damaged, returned to base and ongoing repairs. What with New York always being a good place to find to find targets, I took the Last Sunrise out for more field testing. We again found the pair of Rogue Scylla's that we've blown to hell multiple times. Regardless, we opened fire on A_Bloody_Joke promptly. We soon found its companion, and they both turned around and began to pound the Sunrise unrelentingly. Fortunately, The Sunrise had enough firepower and armor to keep both at bay, and eventually both were destroyed. However, a Dreadnought had appeared and knowing the Sunrise couldn't handle it, I gave the order for it to RTB, with plenty of damage done. But that wasn't enough to call it a day. The VR-VCS-Nightmare showed up, and began to call targets for the Ven'Gyr, which I took command of at Ouray after disembarking the Sunrise. With the LNS-California stationed at Manhattan, sitting still, the crew of the Ven'Gyr with years of hardened battle experience pulled a CO maneuver 30 klicks above Manhattan. With the Nightmare keeping the dread in one place, we were soon all over it, and it quickly succumbed the the heavy firepower of the Ven'Gyr. A Freelancer BWT by the name of Jorran.Terrick assisted with offering its Nanobtic and Shield Battery store's to the Ven'Gyr, and I graciously accepted them. Recommend keeping him on our side, as he could prove to be an extremely useful asset to the Warhammer Task Force. Afterwards, the Ven'Gyr moved on with renewed vigor, this time heading to Texas. Scanners detected an enemy Dreadnought in Virginia that was heading to Texas, and the Ven'Gyr moved to a position so it could CO maneuver right on top of the Virginia gate, using the Nightmare as bait. However, we were in for a shock when, instead of a Dreadnought, two Battlecruisers, the LNS-Challenger, and the [LN]-LNS-Plymouth.Rock. With the arrival of Lieutenant Mark Anderson in a Roc, we soon had the LNS-Challenger destroyed, the the Plymouth Rock between us and the Virginia gate. It was trying to escape, however the Ven'Gyr moved to block off the gate, and trapped the Rock long enough for it to be disabled and run adrift into the Minefield. With the Ven'Gyr starting to take more serious damage, I took it back to Ouray to make sure it didn't get much more done to it. On the way, Anderson and the Nightmare took down the LNS-Constellation, without the assistance of the Ven'Gyr. Eager to test the new Inquisitor class Gunboat, I took the [HF]-HFGB-Spleenflash out to test it. With the arrival of Grand Admiral Sera and the [HF]-HFGB-Flametongue, we soon continued on the purge of Liberty. The newest target we found, the LABC LNS-Menlo.Park, was found between West Point and the California Jumpgate. However, without us being able to chat with it, I encountered its gunners opening fire with Pulse cannons. As such, it was a target for us to destroy. Additionally, we found Festus.Hagen, an Orca firing at The.Magician, a pirate Orchid. Both were destroyed. However, we lost Mark Anderson to The.Magician, however Williams recovered his pod. At this point, things get hazy as there was heavy interference from ION Storms. I moved the Spleenflash back to Ouray, and launched Beta 1. I found Billy.Steward at Rochester, and opened fire as it had annoyed me earlier. It didn't last long as it was a Werewolf, and soon I found it had become split into multiple pieces by a Supernova hit. I moved to Manhattan, where I found the [LN]-LNS-Groom.Lake, and after receiving support in the form of the Nightmare and VR-Andrew.Notimo, I moved in to attack. The LSF Hired a Freelancer Spatial named John, recommend this Freelancer be put down on sight if seen again. Regardless, the Nightmare and I pinned the Groom Lake down, and it was soon going down in flames. However, I managed to get caught in the explosion as a piece of the Groom Lake rocketed into the back of the ship, disrupting engines and breaking off half a wing, and with two gunboats on my back, I chose the option of ejecting from the ship right before the LNS-America landed a lethal shot into its back, vaporizing the entire thing. However, The Vagrant Raiders got away safely, and I deemed it an acceptable loss compared to the ships we destroyed today. Attachments: ########## Anders out. Rolled the Spleenfash out to New York upon the request of Grand Admiral Sera. Most of this is classified, however I can say that I found the LNS-Solarius, a Dreadnought, and a really annoying Outcast Scimitar named Poseidon's. Both were killed in rapid succession, when the Ven'Gyr CO'ed on top of the Solarius, and the Spleenflash shooting down the Scimitar as it flew around the Solarius' wreck. The Ven'Gyr and I RTB'd.
However a few hours later, Steele decided to be an ass and haul me onto the Iblis, with himself taking the Sunrise. Our target was two LNS Cruisers, the LNS-Crotale and LNS-Missouris. We found them near Norfolk, and even better, we found a LR- Destroyer, the LR-Ambient.Mortality-B. We targeted the Rogue first, and it literally held still and seemed to stop caring about it's own well being. We targeted the LNS Cruisers next, and they fell quickly as well. We were going to RTB, but after I pointed out that the LNS-Menlo.Park, a LABC, was floating around, we searched for it. We found it at West Point, however it quickly started to cruise up to try and get away with [LN]-Rachel.Baker directing it. With the Sunrise tailing them, I went down and used the lanes to try and intercept. However, after they turned too many times, the Sunrise got a disrupter on it, and the LABC turned around to engage the damaged Sunrise. However, it couldn't consistently hit it, so by the time I showed up, the Sunrise was still operating with nearly full shields. With the Iblis on scene, we engaged it, and it fell relatively fast. With the 4th victor destroyed, we RTB'd, for real this time. We were also tailed by Baker, however she lost us in the old silver field of Colorado. Attachments: ##### Anders out. |
