To: The respected admiralty
Subject: Pain wants back in/Re-assignment.
Beginning transmission...

Pain here. After my last engagement with the navy I was put out of action for a long while. I was trying to get a pack of Mandalorian mercs off of Golry Hole's tail when suddenly everything went black. I was in a coma for the past month it seems. Thank god Mr. Sweeney was there to pick up my pod to bring me back home. The doctors from the Leniex medical facility told me I was unable to begin actively fighting again until my full recovery. The fractured ribs and shoulder blade will take 3 months to heal. As you may have guessed it, I couldn't wait for that long.

Yesterday I ran off from the hospital, I just could not handle the urge to shoot a few navy boys. My ship was nowhere to be found though, and as I've found out, it was completely obliterated in that said last clash. I picked up one of the old "Cutlass" bombers that were available and headed towards Liberty...

I was intercepted in California by a heavy exploration vessel that was strongly affiliated with the navy. The pilot started issuing orders at me and I responded in a proper manner. The whole thing ended up with me chasing the poor bastard to the Sierra asteroid field, after which I ripped him to shreds.

A duo of LN arrived and I thought it was time to leave the scene. My aching body and rusty ship were no match for opponents of such class. I fled for the Texas jump hole. In Texas I forgot to drop down the shades on my cockpit window. While almost going blind, my unprepared vision detected a darkened spot above the sun, which contrasted quite vividly with the light that engulfed everything else. After rubbing my eyes for a few minutes I headed towards the said object. As it turned out it was a space station located just over the top of the sun. The architects placed it conveniently within the sun's corona, thus exposing every craft to strong radiation. The owners are unknown and as you can see the Hellfire don't have docking rights for that base. I decided to fire an innocent shot of anti-matter at it just to check if it had a shield generator. Not only a shield was activated. The "aptly" named Sunflower Inn had a defensive turret stationed nearby, which opened fire on me. I refrained from continuing any further attacks on the station, figured HC would want have a look at it first. It is supposedly newly built, with a few defensive mechanisms. Later that day I heard a rumor at the Cali Minor bar that the base was regularly supplied by 3 foreign mega-corporations, still unknown, and that the owner has ties with the Liberty Navy. Though these rumors are not confirmed, I strongly advise our intel division to dig in to the matter.

Speaking of 'later that day', upon my return in California, I located a "Bison" class trade ship of the SAD division of the LAF. The Bison was apprehended by a rogue gunboat, which went by the alias of "Expeses". He is a renown LR affiliate, and if I recall correctly, Mr. Sweeney and I have engaged him on numerous occasions. He got the officer to release 40 of the prisoners on board, claiming "they were his comrades". I quickly took advantage of the situation and shot down most of their pods before the gunboat captain could notice. All those rogue pilots that were about to be set free and cause chaos in Liberty were turned in to space dust.

Well, what do you think? Not bad for a lieutenant, who is supposedly recovering from his traumas in a bed somewhere at Leniex. Those doctors are really soft, plus they over exaggerate stuff too much. I feel confident enough to be put back in to action.

On a separate note: I am not working in any particular squadron since my departure from active duty. I would like to be assigned to the Beta-bomber wing, with access to a newer ship, if possible. However, I still feel that my abilities are being wasted on these regular "spartan-like" suicide missions. I hope that in time I would get the opportunity to apply for the SAD or AR divisions and develop my full potential there.

Pain signing out.
Transmission ended.

ADDENDUM: As assigned by admiral Kinnaird himself, I undertook a journey to Texas once more in order to keep a close eye on the newly discovered station. After several hours of patient waiting, a Zoners' "Nephilim" appears on the scene. The ship approached the station and without providing proper explanation he opened fire on it.

Soon one of the suppliers of the base arrived. It was a "Titanic" class transport. His ID suggested that he worked for Samura, which was mostly odd. He soon fled the vicinity as the shield did not allow him to dock.

The situation became even more absurd when an Outcasts' "Ranseur" joined the Zoner and opened fire on the station. He claimed that he was paid to take it down. I could not manage to get that dreadnought to leave Liberty space, a single bomber would not cut it. At least I managed to extract from him some information about the owner. As it turns out it is a project of the 41st.
However, their installation was obliterated by these weapons for mass destruction...

[font=Palatino Linotype]So like, WHAT THE [color=#F3E88E][censored] BRO?! I was just flying around New York minding my own business when I saw a god damn Navy fleet chasing some dudes. They had big ships, like, real [color=#F3E88E][censored] big ships, so I just decided to fly beside them and watch as they chased those suckers!

They were chasing some, well, I dont really know what the [censored] that was. It was pink, a big floating pink thing, and it was glowing. I swear, I wasnt even drunk or anything like that! But yeah, after they killed them off, some big shot Mandalorian tracked me down and tried to kill me. Well you know what? [censored] him!

After that little pest was taken care of, I had a little chat with someone who claimed to be a Wind Priest. I [censored] you not! Admiral Kinnaird speaking;

I have arrived with the Incursus at Pacifica Base in the Bering system. My retinue is currently being hosted by the Unioners there. As usual, since I am away from Task Force Warhammer, Grand Admiral Hunter is in charge of front-line operations.

The Logistics department should be prepared to retask for deliveries to Pacifica within the coming week. Please remain vigilant and await further orders.

All other units are to continue standard operations.

Kinnaird out.

It's been too long....

Had a pretty interesting flight today. Heard about some annoying pirates gunning down just about anything on the Mojave lane, as usual. On the way there from New York, I managed to get attacked by a Freelancer, callsign Exploder, in some freighter I didn't quite recognize. Anyway, he tried to engage me before I could jump, so I decided to see if his threats were able to be vindicated. And surprisingly enough, they weren't. After he lost a bit of hull he hit cruise and took off running.

After jumping through via the gate, I found a Liberty Gunboat named Gunshin preparing to attack the pirates, and I decided to watch and see how the fought. The pirates had a CA4 Lane Hacker Gunboat, a Gallic Civilian bomber (?), a Bactrian and a Mammoth. I figured I was heavily out gunned, especially when they destroyed the Gunboat in a short amount of time. Nevertheless, I decided that it was worth a shot, and it would at least keep them off the lanes. I began with the Mammoth, but right before it was destroyed, a group of Liberty Navy snubs appeared and began to engage the pirates as well, and since I knew I was outgunned, I didn't object. I killed the Bactrian, but their Bomber and Gunboat escaped.

With the pirates missing, I decided to turn my attention to the Navy group. It consisted of 4 fighters,
[LN]-Jack.Malrone, [LN]-Jake.Sanders, [LN]-Rohj.Teerin, and [LN]-Mikori.Lawson. Teerin and Lawson started on me as soon as I made my intention clear near Riverside, and I managed to take down Lawson with a minirazor rather quickly. With Lawson gone, Malrone jumped in, however I still managed to destroy Teerin, which left just me and Malrone. I managed to drift far away from Riverside, enough that the secondary cruiser patrols wouldn't bother us, and proceeded to give Malrone all I had. It proved to be more then enough, with him being destroyed, which incited Sanders to attack. Sanders as well couldn't avoid the minirazor shot I fired, and he went down as well.

Additionally, there were some freelancers with a tag of (SolaR[CB]- that lent their moral support to me, as well as donuts. Although they never fired, they supported me morally enough that I think they should be treated with some respect if they are encountered more. Anyway, that about does it. Comm ID: [color=#FFFFFF]Major Madison Garcia

[color=#FFFFFF]Major Garcia here,

This is the report about our recent activities in the New York system. A small fighter wing proceeded to attack enemy vessels near Planet Manhattan. Several snubcraft engaged our forces, but they were flying bombers and that made them easy targets for us. They were dealt with in no time.

[Image: HF32.jpg]

Once we were done with those annoying bugs, we were attacked by two LABCs and one Avenger. We were only three fighters but that didn't stop us from attacking those enemies, we focused on the lower armored one and forced it to dock, the Avenger soon followed.

[Image: HF33.jpg]

We focused fire on the last remaining LABC and tried to destroy it as fast as possible before more enemy reinforcements would arrive. Since it had a better armor upgrade it took of course a bit more time, the end result however, was the same and the vessel was blown to dust.

After that happened we spotted several new capital ships incoming, namely a Liberty Assault Carrier and a Liberty Dreadnought. This called for heavier guns from our side and we called in the Ven'Gyr and the Lilith to deal with that threat. Once they arrived they began to tear apart the Carrier and once that one was destroyed they focused on the enemy Dreadnought. They had no chance against our mighty vessels.

That would be all, Garcia out.

Subject: Combat & Status Report

Lieutenant Epps here,

Set out on a small patrol today in Beta-4, thought it take it out for another spin through Magellan. I was flying near Mactan when i picked up another station on my scanners. I checked my position and assured myself of my location before proceeding to investigate.

[Image: 23s96r8.jpg]

I couldn't find out it's affiliation , but it's name. "Bazard Commodities & Equipement". A further Recon Mission should be launched in the future to investigate this station further. It is a Relatively small installment, for now, but it should be watched closely.

This is Fleet Commander Brass reporting in.

After a long time of absence I was re-positioned in the front lines. Today Kogomi, Anders and Chavez James began the standard patrol. They were send forward to identify any possible targets for destruction and pin them down so the Last Sunrise would strike them. The Sunrise met a pirate blockade while proceeding to it's destination at the California gate in Magellan harassing civilians but they were immidiately dispatched and one remained behind to stall us.

Guncam

The scout force spotted a lone battlecruiser and a Junker IFF'd strikecraft near the New York jumpgate and the Last Sunrise quickly moved in and destroyed LNS-Hannibal while leave the Junker to the rest.

Guncam

Shortly after there was a large fleet approaching us and Sunrise proceeded to Texas where Polyphemus was placed. I then assumed command and along with Kogomi, Raptor and Anders we prepared for the inevitable battle. Unfortunately there were more than I anticipated and the battle was rough with two Dreadnoughts from which one was equipped with a cloaking device, two battlecruisers and a carrier. The battle was fierce and with Polyphemus taking hits from all directions we still managed to deal heavy damage to the enemy fleet. Their total losses were the experimental dreadnought, a gunboat, a battlecruiser and then again the damaging of the same battlecruiser(que) and several strikecrafts that were shot down in California close to the Texas jumphole.

Guncam 1
Guncam 2
Guncam 3

Brass out.

[color=#FF9900]Legionnaires,

New orders concerning the installation 'Bazard Commodities & Equipement':

High Command believes the base is used by criminal assets, as the information provided by its administrator was quite suspicious.

Monitor the base and its suppliers. Should our suspicions be right, you are free to destroy the base and its suppliers.

That would be all.

Grand Admiral Hunter out.

Admiral Kinnaird speaking;

After a break away from the frontlines, strengthening our diplomatic ties with the Unioners, it's time again to crack skulls and burn the enemies of the Legion.

> 22-7-818

I took command of the Destroyer Abaddon and deployed in the Cortez system, after receiving intelligence concerning heavy Outcast vessels in the area. We ambushed one Pilgrim-class Liner at the edge of the Corcovado Ice Field, its hold full of pilfered Luxury Goods. The crew must have been asleep at the controls, as they offered little resistance and were swiftly dispatched. All recoverable salvage was tractored out of the wreckage, and I later distributed a portion of the Luxury Goods to the crew as a reward for their professional conduct.

Following close on the heels of the Liner was a Storta-class Destroyer, the real prize of our hunt. Unfortunately, the crew of this ship were not quite as sloppy as the Liner, and they were prepared to face us. It was a closely fought battle, as our ships carried similar levels of firepower, but the Abaddon won the day thanks to the veteran crew members and superior armour.

> 23-7-818

I RV'd with Fleet Captain Sam Fauk at the edge of the Badlands for a patrol around New York. We encountered heavy resistance from the Gunboat patrol at West Point and disengaged in search of alternative targets. Captain Fauk mentioned receiving a message from a strange individual on a private channel, and I agreed to investigate it by locating the sender. We caught sight of him near Fort Bush, and followed him down the Trade Lane to Manhattan.

However, this was a risky move, as Manhattan's low-orbit zone was busy with multiple Freelancers and Bounty Hunters in proximity. I was immediately engaged without warning by some cheap-shot 'lancer, who I casually dispatched while under fire from Manhattan's defense grid. Captain Fauk was not so lucky, and a Bounty Hunter ace locked on to him, as did a Navy pilot shortly afterwards.

Realising that we would soon be swiftly outnumbered, as a Bottlenose-class Gunboat was approaching rapidly, I ordered Fauk to disengage. He managed to escape the transit zone, but with the two fighters close on his tail. I powered after the Captain to aid him against the fighters, but he was too heavily damaged and was forced to eject.

I managed to destroy the Navy fighter, but having been worn down by earlier combat, my ship could not hold together against the Bounty Hunter, and I too ejected.

Kinnaird out.
