Honestly, have you guys thought this through properly? Would it not be easier to veto/review controversial decisions rather than preemptively supervise even the most insignificant posts?

And if we start using personal accounts (LN responding to Surplus requests, for example) for the same thing, will that get us in trouble for wanting to govern in timely fashion?
I just ping all mods in mod lounge, works well so far

Why would we need extra effort to do something we managed to do for a decade. And being on official discord should not be requirement to be able to roleplay properly on forum. Too many steps for a simple thing. This is exhausting.

they don't see where you posted simply

They need some sort of a bot that tracks gov accounts posting and pings mods automatically

I don't see how that is community's problem and why roleplay should suffer due to lackluster staff.

RE: Announcement: House Governments - Saronsen - 11-06-2023

wow this simple message still isnt responded to!
what a successful change to the system that ran so horribly before!
im just going to respond with random accounts since the staff has decided they dont want to actually be involved with this change they passed on down

RE: Announcement: House Governments - SnakThree - 11-06-2023

The staff isn't even responding here, probably to save their faces. Ignoring the issue is easier than admitting

So people who have more duties are too busy to deal with additional duties they added upon themselves?

So like OFLs are too busy running factions to deal with government duties?

Am I the only one seeing the similarity here and irony here?

You were in LibGov yourself, you know that not all people have the drive to do LibGov stuff. And suddenly those that have, are no longer capable to do what they have been doing successfully for years.

RE: Announcement: House Governments - Lemon - 11-06-2023

Mod lounge pings get processed very fast so far (better than pinging mods in gov chat)

The approval needs actually break forum bots so not gov nor the recipient get notified of posts - this is an issue that will continue to need the pings unless worked around somehow

Blame the 1 iCs you are working with - they can discuss whatever needs to be processed in the gov channel so approvals are just a formality after that - the system punishes faction leaders just sitting on their positions - we actually were finally forced in [RM] to ask staff to intervene and swap 1iC as we'd essentially lose gov vote and input - honestly, that's not such a bad thing ?
