Independent Miners Guild Recruitment channel (iRP) - Independent Miners Guild - 11-12-2011 Four days later, the man who interviewed Mr Bergmann was reviewing the latest job applications. In the screen in front of him, there was a man who intentionally were hiding his face. [color=#FFFF99]- So Herr "M", it seems Johan Bergmann is quite capable in becoming a Guild Member. What's your intel about his time when he worked for Daumann and Kruger? - He seemed to be a casual employer. No irregularities, as far as I know. - Gut. He then pressed something on the screen and the following message was sent to Mr Bergmann's address. [color=#33CCFF]IMG Recruitment Office

My father having followed military flight school giving me hints and tricks as he taught me his moves. Having earned some experience in the field over the years as a escort pilot. My parents were always there for me and supporting me. I moved out at the age of 20, to study around here in Bretonia. I need money to fund my studies. The study being about ship tech. Engines, designs, weaponry, economical and efficiency is what you get to learn here. Also known as ‘Ship engineering’. The school itself is of course located here in Bretonia. Since this is where I’m staying for the time being. Since my time being here, Jack showed me around on the Hood, I did a few jobs in one of the IMG fighters as a escort pilot already, just to see how everything here works, it also convinced me that this is what I’m looking for. A variety job, where to get so see a lot of Sirius and yet sometimes relaxing and in other times exciting and dangerous. Which is pretty much what I like to have as a job, something that will remain interesting. • IMG service: I have done a few patrol runs around Dublin and I also did a escort run from Dublin to Liberty and back again. Run went smoothly, though a little Trident added some excitement to the trip. Recently I also escorted a convoy from Tau-23 to New Berlin, from there to the Omega’s and back to Kusari, then we headed back to Tau-23 again. Several encounters were dealt with along the way. One pirate I downed myself. ![]() Secondary Information: • Outline the Independent Miners Guild goals: Remain to be a strong company, that supports employee welfare above profit. • What can you contribute while inside the Guild ? Her skills in handling fighter craft and also bombers are outstanding and we cannot afford to turn down a really good pilot that - by lucky circumstances - finds her way into the IMG instead of a mercenary faction or worse. To prove this point: I never had any chance in combat simulation fights, and we did quite some. I can personally confirm that Ms. Blanca did a good job on the escort runs she mentioned in her application and that she would be an asset, especially in the paramilitary section of the IMG. Independent Miners Guild Recruitment channel (iRP) - Toaster - 11-18-2011 [font=Agency FB]>>: Comm. ID: [color=#FFFFFF]Mark.Brown >>: Subject: Application Application Wrote:Primary Information:: 23 Citizenship: Libertonian Biography: Mark Brown, born on Pittsburgh, New York, grew up in a family of miners. His mother, Mary Brown died when he was six. According to the DSE authorities, she was killed in an explosives-accident in a mining tunnel. Mark's father, Peter Brown, barely survived the blast, and was paralyzed from his hip downwards for the rest of his life. DSE, feeling responsible for the family, payed them a sum of 100,000 credits, Mark and his father could move to Manhattan. At the age of 12, Mark started working in a small packaging company on Manhattan while his father worked as a clerk for Universal Shipping. Three years later, Peter Brown died in an accident involving him, a Rhino freighter, a defect engine, and a skyscraper's outer wall. Mark, now 15 years old, was employed by Universal Shipping as a dock worker on Trenton Outpost. After three years of hard work he was promoted to co-pilot on the Rhino freighter Black Nine. Two years laters, the pilot, Douglas Walker, dropped him off on Freeport 4 (by Mark's own request, according to Walker). Had earned enough money to finally afford an Evo 1B heavy fighter and, in order to earn some extra cash, offered his services to the station's administration to assist in the installation's defense against reoccurring Outcast attacks. Two and a half years later, he joined the Independent Miners Guild's independent division, flying a Nyx in the Tau region. Half a year (and several skirmishes) later, he decided to fully join the Guild. Secondary Information: Outline the Independent Miners Guild goals: Offering disgruntled workers work where they are payed fairly according to their output. What can you contribute while inside the Guild ? I have flown fighters for almost three years now. I'm not necessarily a very skilled combat pilot, but I can do well enough. Also, I've learned how the Outcasts fight, and believe that I can therefore offer some usefulness in that field. Which are your personal reasons for joining the Guild ? Also, which IMG Department would you like to be part of ? I've been flying for the Guild in some manner or another for two and a half years, and believe that it's about time I become a full member. Paramilitary. OORP Information: Please provide your Skype ID: franklin_carr For how long do you play on the server? Have you ever been part of other player factions? If yes, which ones? 14 months IMG| (now you're confused, right?), BAF|, a handful of unofficial factions Have you ever been sanctioned? If yes, please provide links to all your sanctions: No Regards,
Mark Brown. Independent Miners Guild Recruitment channel (iRP) - Zytahar - 11-20-2011 Primary Information: Name: Morgan.Z Age: 32 Citizenship: Freeporter, if that can be called citizenship Biography: Born and raised on Freeport 4, I lived a quiet life. I recieved my basic education at the local school and at the age of 19, I went to Helgoland station, in the Tau-31 system, in order to study geology with Prof. Alan Johnes, a former researcher at the Cambridge Research Institute, now retired from activity. At first, he was reluctant to take me as his student, but he finally accepted when I told him I was willing to go with him to the Omicron Delta system so that he could investigate the Iridium fields present there. Anyone that knows Prof. Johnes, also knows of his life-long dream to visit the Iridium fields in Delta. For some reason or another, he never did until the day when he took me as his student. We left that same week, with a zoner ship that was headed that way. Of course, I had read a lot about the system itself and especially about the mining operations and the Iridium extraction/processing facilities there. But nothing prepared me for what I found there! The wildest system that I could imagine, with pirates and hostile aliens around every corner! We took residence on Freeport 11, but spent most of our time in the small research lab that the professor had established on Dabadoru Station. How he managed to get permission to do that, I do not know. The Bounty Hunters weren't exactly pleased to see us meddling in their affairs, but with time they got used to our presence and we got used to their harsh way of living. We spent 4 years in that radioactive wasteland, collecting samples, isolating the ore, purifying it and so on. But in the end, it was worth it, for we have managed to improve the whole process so that more Iridium was extracted from the raw ore at a lower cost than before. Nowadays, the same procedure that Prof. Alan Johnes developed is used throughout the Sirius Sector to mine Iridium. So, after the 4 years spent there, we went to the Cambridge system, where I had to write and defend my thesis. I graduated as a mining engineer at the age of 24. Sadly, the professor died one year later and that's when I decided to try my luck in the Omega 7 system, where I worked for various small companies, extracting/refining the different ores that can be found in the system, or as a transport pilot when there was nothing else for me to do. I did so for a few years, until recently, when I realized that I have the skills and expertise to do much more than that, hence the current application for the IMG. Secondary Information: Outline the Independent Miners Guild goals: The IMG seeks to provide for those under it's wing, putting people first, before profit. What can you contribute while inside the Guild ? I come with mining expertise as well as a personal transport, obtained from a retired pilot. Which are your personal reasons for joining the Guild ? Also, which IMG Department would you like to be part of ? I decided that it was time to move to something bigger than the small, local mining facilities. My experience can serve me best in the Mining Department. However, if the need arises, I can substitute as a transport pilot or even be part of research projects looking to improve/develop new methods of mining. OORP Information: Please provide your Skype ID: Zytahar For how long do you play on the server? Have you ever been part of other player factions? If yes, which ones? I've been playing and quiting for around 2 years, I would guess. I've played a lot as an indie, but I've also been part of the =CR= and the [C]. Have you ever been sanctioned? If yes, please provide links to all your sanctions: Nope. Independent Miners Guild Recruitment channel (iRP) - themikeruler - 11-20-2011 Primary Information: Name: Phoenix Dust Age: 28 Citizenship: Bretonian Biography: Born and raised on Leeds, I was raised by my uncle and auntie because my parents never had the wealth to sustain my life and keep my healthy, but I still visited them throughout my childhood. I've always been the type of freedom fighter. I joined the Bretonia Armed Forces soon after a graduated from pilot school, and they brought me into the rank of Specialist as they saw that I had skills that beat many of the Privates. Mission after mission, objective after objective, i sought to fight the pirates out of Bretonian space, but that was a goal that would never be achieved. I've witnessed pirates take down entire transports with agility, the speed of my ship being the wall that stopped me. I grew tired of this, and I felt that I was fighting with the wrong group of people. My performance decreased, and eventually I resigned from the Naval Forces, despite of my skill. Minutes leaving the military base, an IMG trader approached me. His hull was badly damaged, and his life support was fading. His last words were "Protect the others." I wasn't aware of what was going on, until I saw what he was running from. 2 more IMG transports were being mauled by a pack of Corsairs. The cannibals being my arch enemies, I massacred the ships and saved the transports from apparent death. I gave them my last nanobots to temporarily repair their ships until they could dock and get the full repairs. They thanked me for their kindness, and I escorted them to Java Station. In my heart, I felt as if I had succeeded my goals within those 20 minutes of combat and service. I wanted more of that feeling. I wanted to accomplish as much as I could for these innocent men. When we arrived at Java Station, I was thanked and bowed to in the Hall. Later, I found out that the two traders were high ranking men in the Transport Division. They offered me money, but I declined. I didn't want money, I wanted to serve. High command on Java offered me a position that I could not decline: A career as an military unit in the IMG. Secondary Information: Outline the Independent Miners Guild goals: To earn a living via mining or trading, to protect the welfare of the IMG, and to serve in the welfare of clean, hard work What can you contribute while inside the Guild ? I want to protect the innocence of the guild, to halt the Pirate's demands with a heavy fist and a dignified will. Which are your personal reasons for joining the Guild ? Also, which IMG Department would you like to be part of ? I believe that with the vast amount of workers in the IMG, there needs to be more protectors, guardians, if you will. Thus, I wish to be in the Paramilitary department of the IMG. To serve and protect, that is my goal. As I progress, I wish to eventually partake in the department of the Exploration/Research Division, as a part-time method of work. I've never really explored beyond Bretonia and Liberty. OORP Information: Please provide your Skype ID: TheMikeRuler For how long do you play on the server? Have you ever been part of other player factions? If yes, which ones? I have been playing on the server for about 6 months in length. I have been a part of the Black Dragon Society and the Xeno Alliance. I am also currently applying for the BHG|Core. I don't enjoy the mining or trading aspect of the game, I find it tedious even though the results are rewarding. As a replacement, I like to guard the innocent, escort the traders, or pirate. But I do much of the first 2 more than the latter. Have you ever been sanctioned? If yes, please provide links to all your sanctions: Throughout the 6 months I have been playing, not one sanction has been held against me. [font=Agency FB]Miss Blanca, Mister Brown and Mister Dust your applications have been impressive. I would like to personally [color=#33CC00]accept you in the IMG ranks. Congratulations! Please check your Skyp3 protocols for the invitation. Mr Morgan.Z, we are unaware of any geology classes in the Helgoland Station. Probably if you [color=#FFFF33]expand your biography by saying more things about your complicated past, it could also help us create a more solid view about you.
