What should be talked about here is:
1. Identifying that there is a problem serious enough to require action.
This hasn't been done, and despite promises of 100 screenies none have been posted.
2. Showing that registration will mitigate the problem.
This hasn't been shown as well, and in fact registration on the face of it seems unlikely to change anything.
3. Showing this isn't just petty bullying by faction leaders who want to pvp whore.
In fact, several faction leaders have basically posted that they are doing this because they have the power to do so, a rather worrying sign that the faction leaders in question lack the maturity that their positions should demand.
Bottom line, you can PvP whore me to death faction leaders, but all that proves is that RP means nothing to you.
Now, here is my suggestion, you faction leaders want to actually have a positive effect? Record oorp players, even the faction players who reengage rather than telling them they are allowed, the ones that cruise to catch up in a pvp fight and all the other rule breakers under your command who make you look like you don't care about us indies, and take action against them while not targeting indies that are causing no issue.
Of course as Del implied, that takes too much time, so screw the indies. She's more important than any hundred others.
I know I said I was out, but there again you just had to attack me when I'm tired cranky and not at my best.
Firstly if ever I get a verified report of any of my Rogues doing any of the above I'll report them myself and hoof em out. One of the basic laws of the LR is that you respect server rules.
Secondly I have stated many times in this thread and the other that I dislike the registration but I can see why it's being used. I did not do it to support Eppy, I did it to ensure my Destroyers went unhassled.
Finally I'm a he and I don't consider myself more important than anyone. Niezck prooved I'm not irreplaceable when I went AWOL if I needed it prooving at all. Faction was still here when I came back.
Now stop turning posts to your own end either quote the damn lot or not at all. Frankly I'm tired of the crap you've given factions. We exist to provide a framework for how any NPC faction should run according to our beliefs. I can accept that some folks don't see the LR my way, but frankly most of the indy LR I offer a position to, join up. So I must be doing something right. As for the rest they do tend to be flying capships and when they ask me "Can I keep my Destroyer?" and I respond in the negative (actually I ask them to keep it indy and use it only when necessary, ask Kuraine, who signed up.) they decide against it.

Akuma, seriously, if you loathe factions that much then why the heck are you playing on the official disco RP server? (Other than to ruin the roleplaying for others, that is)

You tell me right now, I'm KOS by eppy and his boys because I refuse to register even though it makes absolutely zero difference how I rp whether I register or not.
In fact this policy has damaged beyond repair my QCO rp, and left a BS and two fighter in the position of protecting Bretonia despite the queen rather than for the queen.
Bullying from a person that I not only didn't agree to have as a faction leader, but frankly a person that I also have zero respect for is why I bought my outcast destroyer to begin with by the way.
Tell me right now how this bullying by factions is helping forum or server rp?

Because it's not a faction only server. DUH!
Plus I don't despise all factions, just the ones resentful and bullying of people that choose not to join them.

Guess what, genious, factions are there to control things. Without the factions we'd have every cap whore from Manhattan to Malta flying an outcast destroyer while going "LULWUT" in system chat. IE; Without factions we have anarchy.
If you don't like the way the server is set up then leave, cause there is nothing you can do to change the way this server functions. The ones leading the factions have been here a hell of a lot loner than you and I and they will be here when we drop out of the game. Why? They have passion. Passion enough to start an official faction and passion enough to keep it running for this long. I'm pretty dam nsure that all you're after is to splurt your so called opinions over these forums as an attempt to "bring them down". Good bloody luck with that, buddy.

Anyway, factions are there to control factions. They are not there to bully indies who could give a rats behind about the faction.
If you see someone breaking the rules, report it, but don't think because you are in a faction you ar ethe boss of indies.

Your blood pressure is not my concern. You'll find it not in the concern or purpose of many factions either.

Did I say PvP whored? Did I, no I did not. Again you quote me out of context so you can proove your point, and in case you haven't noticed it ain't working. I said hassled, and I meant hassled. I see very few (i.e. None) 101st or RoS or BLS fighters in Liberty because if they do turn up people scream "OORP" at them so my hassle would be forum based mostly. I doubt Eppy, Lohingren or Zapp are going to run down to Liberty with bombers to take us out, for all the flak they'd get for doing so. The reason I did it was to make my life as quiet as possible and because it made sense that the Outcasts would know who they sold the damn things to.
I gotta ask you, if you drive do you give the DVLA or whoever your equivalent is the same hassle when you register your car? Becasue it's exactly the same.

Factions =/= Admins. Just the like DVLA is universal, not just a group of people in a certain place.
