Today was a bit of a strange day, though much of the usual sort of stuff was present. Myself and Joe Raison began our patrol in California, he commandeered the HFB-Abbadon, I flew force recon in my Prosecutor spotting targets, tackling them and assisting in the destruction of snub fighters. We received an anonymous tip that a Rogue Scylla was on the California-->New York Gate trade lane engaging an LSF operative, needless to say we responded quickly. I was the first on the scene, tackling both the LSF operative and the Scylla, the LSF operative was destroyed by the cruiser, who attempted to lead me to Alcatraz Depot. During my chase, the Lord Commander signed on and brought the HFGB-Flash to assist Joe and myself. In the end, the cruiser was destroyed with no damage to the hulls of any Legion vessels {|P-1| , |P-2|}. We then engaged and destroyed a nearby pirate who did not respond to our hails, but was obviously camping the gate {|P-1|}. At this point in our patrol, Legionary Avril Parker joined our wing as Commander Raison had matters to attend to elsewhere. In New York, on the trade lane to Manhattan, we encountered a Junker in a Pilgrim Liner, needless to say he cooperated with our judgement and showed himself as a well behaved individual worthy of our mercy {|L-1|}. We turned our wrath to the pirate attempting to ransom traders (One named John Arryn, who escaped unmolested due to Legion intervention), he refused to leave prompting a small firefight in which he surrendered the lane, we allowed him to leave as a show of mercy though he returned to New York despite our warnings painting him as a KOS target for future Legion patrols {|L-1|}. Five minutes later, we engaged a BHG bomber, though two LABCs and a dreadnought intervened allowing the bomber cover and 'bots; a LABC got a lucky cheapshot on me, resulting in....horrific damage to my Prosecutor - I returned to base safely however.

The afternoon patrols were almost entirely uneventful, death was approaching me in the form of boredom, then an entire Rheinland Military Fleet showed up ravaging the LN forces in Texas. I took the HFGB-Myrmidon out for a Force Recon mission to observe the strengths of the Rheinland and Liberty Navy fleets, and to assess the threat level they presented. As it turns out, an old friend of mine was flying with the Rheinland fleet, informing them that I meant no immediate harm to them, allowing me to observe in relative peace. As the Rheinland fleet was reforming in California my old friend asked me to neutralize a few Rogues who were harrying their forces along the way; upon discovering the Rogues, we were able to negotiate an agreement: today we fight together, in semi cooperation with the Rheinlanders against the government, today we will show the weakness of the Libertine fleet - and when we next meet, Rogues, RM and Legion - we will fight again. And so we did, the Rheinlander fleet jumped into New York, straight into a bastion of no less than eight LN capital vessels, myself and the cadre of Rogues that agreed to a temporary ceasefire were close in toe, our purpose was to eliminate Navy fighters and assist in damaging un-shielded capitals. The battle was of a standard I have never seen before, the Rheinlanders fought in perfect cohesion with both a force of expert snubfighters and capital command teams - they tore through the Navy capitals as the Rogues, RM fighters and myself burned a hole through their fighter corps, losing no snubs and only minor damage to the Myrmidon. In the chaos, between dodging flak from Liberty Capitals, watching crossfire and unleashing wreathes of fire among the Navy, I only was able to grab a shot or two of a small portion of the battle {|P-1| , |P-2|}.

I realize what I am about to say might sound like treason...but I believe we should look into a potential relationship, neutrality perhaps, with Rheinland, they hate the war as much as we do and want to see the current government gone - in addition, they are capable warriors far superior to the Navy, and in a world like this a few friends is invaluable. Further information on today's battle can likely be parsed from our operatives within Liberty.

Sweet and simple this time; Joe and myself began a patrol in New York hoping to scrap a dreadnought, instead we found a group of Rogues pirating a Lane and simultaneously fighting off a Liberty Battlegroup. We had to make a rough decision, have a small agreement with the Navy and destroy the Rogues who preyed on our innocent traders, or side with the Rogues and destroy the Navy ships, as well as allow them to destroy Libertine civilian commerce vessels. We chose to fight the Rogues, in relative unison a somewhat reasonable Navy officer and her battlegroup. The battle was a bit of a standstill in the beginning until strangely enough, an Outcast Dreadnought appeared literally out of nowhere and began firing upon our force - unexpectedly, the Navy held its own with the support of Joe's bomber and my Prosecutor, and the outcast Dreadnought was destroyed, with no casualties taken despite extensive damage to the Liberty Navy Dreadnought 'Battleship Concord' which honestly doesn't matter {|P-1|} Unfortunately my ship was struck by an ion bolt and disabled, thus ending my participation - and my temporary truce with the Navy. I never thought I would be in a non-aggressive position towards the Navy, but the innocent Libertine traders being pirated on came first over my feelings.

Today was somewhat uneventful, a day of spontaneous on and off engagements and me losing a bomber or two. The first notable event was that of the BMD now actively patrolling Liberty trade lanes, taxing our traders. A BMD cruiser accompanied by two or three snubfighters and a Ragnar were in New York, California, and Texas today committing such piracy; I showed up with reinforcements on the way, as they pirated a DSE Mastodon, I was unable to engage as they had overwhelming numbers and reinforcements were still far and thus they escaped to defeat some Navy around Texas. The DSE pilot I attempted to spare from unlawful taxation thanked me later for showing face as the Navy is incapable of doing so. This next part I hope makes the HC laugh; myself, Commander Raison and Lt. Efried Valdor managed to tackle a dreadnought the 'Moore' of the Seventh Fleet. A small band of Rogues came by, offering assistance plus a cadre of Xenos who were patrolling nearby. Considering that at the time the Rogues were not committing any unlawful actions, I agreed. We engaged the Moore and it was promptly destroyed, though at the time my guncams were disabled due to a lucky pulse hit from the dread however, Commander Raison and the Lt. can vouch for my presence. The Navy escalated (Funny how they managed to scrape this force together for a few snubs, but not a BDM fleet) bringing in a carrier, two more dreadnoughts and an LABC or two standing by at West Point. Suffice to say, two more dreadnoughts were destroyed as the carrier fled in cowardice, forsaking his allies {|P-1| , |P-2|}.
