RE: The "Ambrosia" - Colonial Bar on Sabah Shipyard - Havok - 08-12-2014 As another patron entered the bar, Nighthawk flashed a smirk, looking over at her with another greeting nod, his shades firmly on the bridge of his nose. "Lou has been slacking too long, I'm glad to see the Ambrosia opened again." He turned towards Black and leaned against the bar. RE: The "Ambrosia" - Colonial Bar on Sabah Shipyard - Apollon - 08-12-2014 She chuckles, looking around at the bar's furniture, lights, drinks and the employees.
"Well.. I haven't been here much often after the grand opening. But, I suppose that it's my chance now to taste some of your drinks?" she looks at Lou and Hawk again with a smile "Lou's Ambrosia never gets old anyway.." RE: The "Ambrosia" - Colonial Bar on Sabah Shipyard - Havok - 08-12-2014 He smiled some in reply to her. "Oh I was here almost too much to admit. Someone had to keep out a look on the fools that we're trying to bash eachothers brains in. Matter of fact I had to shoot a rook not five feet from where you're sitting. Poor girl never knew her place." An agreeing nod to her statement, a look over at lou. "No, No it does not. Lou always manages to make it a place to have a good time." RE: The "Ambrosia" - Colonial Bar on Sabah Shipyard - Wildkins - 08-12-2014 David brought his Nyx in to land on the Shipyard, managing to somehow control the ship even with one of his engines offline. He hopped out of the ship, popped off his helmet, and started to walk down the corridor towards the dormitories, ignoring the repair crew and maintenance team that just arrived on scene. However, before hitting his room, he noticed a peculiar sign that wasn't there when he left. "The Ambrosia", it said, "Grand Re-opening" underneath. Given that Matthews had already had a rather terrible day, all things considered, he decided to try his luck there. He walked in to a large, open bar with a few people mulling about near the bartender. The bartender was an older man, somebody that Matthews hadn't met before. He couldn't quite place the others either, but he could only assume they were either crewmen or pilots. He walked closer to the bar, shifting the cracked flight helmet in his hand. He noticed others were busy ordering, so he took a look at one of the menus that was laid out on the bar countertop. RE: The "Ambrosia" - Colonial Bar on Sabah Shipyard - Teerin - 08-12-2014 "Right now if you want lad! Just give me a couple minutes to set things up," said Marcus. He grabbed a stool, wincing at the use of his left hand. Carefully, he sat down. After a brief pause - was that really minutes? - Lou continued, "Ok boys, what'll it be tonight?" "For the celebration, a round of Schnapps on me." replied the man with the familiar voice. A woman, some flight officer, came in and they spoke some. Everything around himself started to phase out for an indeterminate amount of time. Voices sounding watered out, another man entering the room, some of the employees toasting, even the pain lessened ... He shook himself, and came to his senses. Clutching his left hand with his right, he turned back to Marcus. "What about some Borneo vintage brandy? That'd hit the spot quite nicely. Also ... who's that with the peppermint schnapps?" RE: The "Ambrosia" - Colonial Bar on Sabah Shipyard - Havok - 08-13-2014 Hawk had finally received the Peppermint Schnapps and shotglasses, he poured some and slid one over to Black, taking one himself, he downed it quickly. He glanced over at the other man that had just entered, then at the one clutching his left hand, a slight frown, though he didn't question it further for now. "So, How long you been with us?" He'd turned back to Black as he asked her RE: The "Ambrosia" - Colonial Bar on Sabah Shipyard - Apollon - 08-13-2014 She smiles as she took the shotglass to her self holding it
" about two years, or so. my memory always fails me....." She downs the shot quickly before slamming the shotglass to the counter. taking another look at the other people around "What about yourself?" she asked after turning back to Hawk. RE: The "Ambrosia" - Colonial Bar on Sabah Shipyard - Havok - 08-13-2014 Hawk smirked as she downed the shot, she was glancing at the people much like himself, always concious of the surrounding. He'd always keep a wether eye out for what was going on in his vincinity. "Some would say too long, others would say not long enough. I've been around for a couple of years." He adjusted his shades some and took a quick look at his datapad to see if anything new had popped up, when he saw that such wasn't the case he poured the two of them another shot, slamming it down and putting the shotglass back down on the counter. RE: The "Ambrosia" - Colonial Bar on Sabah Shipyard - Apollon - 08-13-2014 She smiles once again after hearing that he's someone from her days.
"Glad to see someone is around from my days. Indeed, you never know if it's long enough or not...." She downs the other shot and slams the glass to the counter, with some sort of a fresh expression on her face. "I've been waiting for such drinks from the Ambrosia for a while now.." she chuckled "Took him long enough to re-open it..." she looks at Lou for a bit before looking at Hawk again. RE: The "Ambrosia" - Colonial Bar on Sabah Shipyard - Wildkins - 08-13-2014 He returned the menu to the countertop and looked to his left. Three persons were there, two male and one female. The closest was a man, sitting on a stool two away from Matthews, clutching his left hand. As Matthews glanced at him, he spoke: "What about some Borneo vintage brandy? That'd hit the spot quite nicely. Also ... who's that with the peppermint schnapps?" Beyond him was a man and a woman. He heard something about comparing service history, but he couldn't really make out much else. Matthews turned back to the bartop, and beckoned to the bartender. "One Colonial Mead, in a glass or whatever it is you serve it in." He sat himself down on the stool two down from the man to his left, and began tapping the bar with his right hand. |
