Ghost.Ship Roleplay Feature - Wolfs Ghost - 08-08-2009

Instead of having a faction of all capital ships. Drop it to one capital ship as the "Flag Ship" and then have the other players as Ghosts fly in fighters/bombers.

Want to do Ghost haunting with a sense? How about this:

Get yourself one or two slave liners and roleplay the slaves killed by the captain who dumped them into space and killed them instead of giving up his cargo to officials in a house system.

Now you got a reason... and a pretty weird but logical reason to hunt slavers... you might even liberate the slaves and bring them to stations... where they suddenly would appear in a whisk of mist in the docking bay... while your ships would disappear back into a cloud.

If encountered by anyone else, you can literally play dead... a drifting wreck. If a junker decides to salvage you and come on over... your turn to spook him away.

Well, my 2 credits.

My Junker would like nothing more than for a seemingly inactive wreck to start knocking on his hull, And by that I dont mean "~~Mortals approaching~~" PEW PEW

Edit: Heres an Idea. Change your faction tag to "The Wreck Of:" And then float about in space with a not 100% kitted out ship/ships. I cant imagine what would happen if a (RP savvy) pilot would do if he appears to suddenly comes accross a smashed up Fighter wing. That then proceeds to send him garbled transmissions and then cruise away.

As long as this is factually rooted in the paranormal or hell/heaven deal I'm going to oppose it. I really don't think Discovery needs to have a proper heaven and hell where souls go to. That entire thing is based on religious beliefs that many here don't hold.

In RP wise, I'll just claim your ship for myself or avoid it, depending on the character. A big empty ship? I'll gladly take it.

well to get to the point of ** Your soul is my ** pew pew you need to go great deal of RP first so everyone know what you are and what is it about.. one more thing even when you are known and say official its still not excuse to do ** engaging ** pew pew.

So cut it out.. If your only goal is to PVP in cap ship, and dont even care about fair fight or fair play please do it elsewhere.. If you keep it up i am sure the corsairs will not allow you to land in Gamma. One more thing.. how do you expect to land in Gamma if you attack Corsairs at will already?

WE dont attack any Corsair Npc Ally unless they attack first!
And yes the use of battleships / cruisers is now restricted. All new Caspers will enter with bomber / fighter / gunboat and will be required to post a ghost story along with their app so we know where they came from!

AS ive said on many occasions our targets are only other capital ships. We are not capwhores. I have always RPed the fact that I do not wish to shoot bombers / fighters so i give a warning not to come within 2k of my ghost ship. When they do come close it has ended up with me being pounded with SNAC and Novas in which case I have to shoot them down. But others have respected that 2k nfz demand and I leave them be. As When we go on Raids I am really only
looking for Battleships,

The whole religious thing is silly. An idea of a Ferryman and the underworld dates back to Greek Mythology. No where has Heaven, Hell, Devil or Satan been mentioned but mythological places have been used here.
As Humans in sirius how do you know there are no ghosts, all is not what it seems!

All that pew pew stuff is only half of what we do, we dont always hunt for souls we do RP in peaceful ways to like me in Theta yesterday at freeport 9. No shots were fired but the Zoners managed to scare me away before I could Reap any Souls!

Interesting. I recall the other night this warning when several bombers came to guard the Freeport when this warning was issued. Most ships were 6k from you but you started creeping towards us. How are we to interpret this? Give in a back up? I think not. One of your crew wanted to attack which would have been against your RP rule of attack only in self defense as we never fired a shot. Rule of thumb. Respect our space and we shall respect yours.
