Only ever played Discovery and I must say...my head hurts.

Lets leave caps alone and talk about something else....

Strange, I can't really see any decrease in DiscoFL player numbers. Actually, since .85 got released, the server's fuller than ever before.

That being said - if it'd make certain people go away, I couldn't care less. I'd rather play on a server with 100 people with 90 RPers than play on a server with 200 people with 90 RPers. But ew, why am I feeding the n00b...

Sorry, but have you actually ever *tried* that yourself? I don't know about you, but I tend to work with both noobs and newbies quite a lot. Some are indeed very teachable and quickly become valued members of Disco - others are utter idiots who are stubborn as rocks (and some don't even understand bloody English). Both whip and candy need to be used to make sure newbies will grow into full members without disrupting RP and gameplay for everybody else.

The faction rights are absolutely useless. The only of these rules that actually granted factions *any* power was the Battleship rule, which got revoked rather quickly.

Also, I don't quite see why factions should not be able to exercise power. We could have player diplomacy (including so-called "non canon RP", I still hate Xoria for that ruling which, unlike ship control, truly limits RP possibilities), we could have organized chain of commands and if indies were finally liable for their actions, something could also be done against lolindies and gankers.

Admit it, Disco is flawed and will never be perfect.

Just try to make it the best you can really.

Forum handle insults now? Shows how much of a point you can make. Responded to that one in my previous post, but eh.

No. I have never tried. Ever. (If anyone wants to click on my profile and realise I am in [The_Angels] faction, feel free. Adding to that, click on the profile and see how many factions I am in, at your convenience.)

Keep whistling.
