In order to keep our databases up to date, I set out on an intelligence gathering mission from Battleship Pamiers to Vichy Base in the Auvergne system. Where possible, I used dense clouds or asteroid fields to my advantage in order conceal my exact position from the royalist forces; this may have reduced the quality of certain guncam footage.
A detailed report regarding Auvergne can be found below. The following was gathered during the course of last week:

Bonjour,
Aspirant Amroth from The Council Trade and Supply Division reporting in.
While taking some needed time for some repairs and rest we heard, that more terraforming gases were needed and after a short deliberation decided to act. We started from Planet toulouse and went through Newcastle, New London and Cambridge to Omega 3. There we visited the Douglas mining station and loaded up on terrafroming gases.
Our journey back was again without incident, exept for a short interaction with a freelancer, that had friendly intentions.
We succesfully brougt back 2930 teon on gases to Planet toulouse.

I have to tell you the Courier Brigand Freighter is a fine ship for transporting smaller amounts of cargo, blockade running, or just dodging and outrunning the regular pirate scum. I had the fortune to try out the CLT Foudroyant, and I'm statisfied with it well enough to suggest the acquisition of a few of these for our logistics division once I'm done with this transmission. Of course this is not the main reason I'm writing my report.
A few days ago I've encountered two Liberty Security Force agents of their ninth division while doing freelance runs with the CLT Valse d'Amelie. Even the beginning of the ecounter was strange at best, I haven't met them before, thus had no knowledge of the meaning of "D9" in front of their callsign, and their use of local pirate ships confused me so much I mistook the agent for a pirate. Though I assume for an intelligence organization a more liberal use of available crafts than usual for possibly deceptive purposes when needed is common practice. Of course later an other agent in a lawful craft joined us and they revealed their true identity. After all we are allies with Liberty, aren't we?
The conversation was interesting, at a point they began asking questions about Roussillon, which I was hesitant to answer in open space, offering more secure means of communication, like properly encoded transmission channels over the neural net, but they refused saying there is currently a bit of chaos among the lawful organizations of Liberty. They didn't detail it much, instead offered later contact in-space and installed a buoy on the front of the ship. They said it is to help connecting with the LNS Tenessee's communications in case we are near eachother in Cortez, but because we are speaking of an intelligence organization and because the entire encounter felt a bit strange I'm not entirely convinced it doesn't have any other hidden purposes. As neither me, nor anyone in the crew of the CLT Valse d'Amelie is anywhere near expert at Libertonian technology, we did not touch the device, but for a while I don't intend to return to Roussillon with that ship.
Basically that was our encounter. Full shipboard logs are attached at the end of this transmission. Besides that freelancing operations are going well as well as yielding satisfying profits to fund out cause. If this keeps going on like that, we may not only be able to provide a steady flow of income to The Council, but may be able to extend our trade fleet to speed up our operations a bit more. We've also brought home some Xenobiotic Filters, proper report is at the end of the transmission as well.

Finally arriving back home after my little "incursion" in Leeds, I left the planet to find myself in the center of a fight between the Royal Navy and the BAF. Some CR ships were also there, both of which were destroyed in the battle. Wasting no time, I jumped in to assist the lone BAF fighter against the Royal Navy, destroying one of their fighters. After that a molly had jumped in to help kill the BAF pilot. I then destroyed him as well.
Things got a little strange when a libretonian pilot with an IFF I've never seen before came into the system and began attacking the BAF pilot. I responded by attacking the unknown libretonian ship and scaring it off. My efforts didn't save the BAF pilot from losing his ship. However I managed to leave with his pod right after.

Content: Earlier in the day, I took off from Planet Toulouse to commence regular patrols of the most crucial points in Roussillon. Continuing on course to waypoint #3 to Planet Elne, I received alert from Pamiers of possible unidentified vessels in the northern sectors of the system.
I engaged cruise and found a Rheinland Container Transport of the "Uruz" class (Police IFF/OSC ID) escorted by a Zoner Longe Range Escort vessel of the "Osprey MKII" (Navy IFF/Freelancer ID); both I may add extremely light on armour platings consider where they drifted into Roussillon from.
Now following the normal protocols, since they were not hauling anything in the cargo hold and were very cooperative, I stopped them and explained the situation to them, and informed them that they are in restricted airspace and that they would be escorted out, once their relevant flight data is deleted. They were informed that should they, once again, "drift" into our airspace they will be shot on sight.
At this point our newest Aspirant, Victoria Mourney, arrived and offered her assistance. She was instructed to wait on the other side of the Tau-29 jumphole to confirm the departure of these two vessels from the other side of the Roussillon jumphole.
Once these two were dealt with, I concluded my patrol at Pamiers.

During the course of the past few days, Caporal Charron, Caporal DaMage and myself in conjuction with our allies, the IMG and CR, conducted massive patrols and system wide blockade of the Taus looking for smugglers in order to weaken the Maltese supply lines.
Caporal DaMage had managed to intercept one transport belonging to the Maltese, with a Zoner and a SCRA| cruiser in the vicinity, but in order to respect the NFZ laws, we were unable to do much in that encounter.
Some of these smugglers, under no particular flag, were re-routing their way through Gallia two of which I manage to pursue from Dauphine into Lorraine, but unfortunately lost them within the Toul Nebula; guncam malfunction is responsible for the lack of any footage of these two smugglers.
A short reconnaissance patrol into the Tau-37 also revealed heavy Maltese asset presence in the system. Reliable intel had it that our allies had been encountering these assets more frequently in recent days.
Of specific importance was our encounter with a BMM primary asset, whose haul was of concern. Given the sensitive nature, the call-sign can be relayed to the relevant intelligence wing upon requested.
I received a comm from Caporal Charron in Tau-31 while sweeping the Tau-29 system for possible sumgglers, at which point I immediately set course for Tau-31. Caporal Charron had managed to intercept this BMM train before he managed to initiate tradelane sequence. The transport was hauling 5000 units of Maltese Light Arms out of the Taus. I think their point of origin is more than obvious to the High Command. Captain of the transport was very cooperative and had jettisoned all of the contraband by the time I arrive on the scene aboard CLT La Renaissance.
Command will be happy to know that all 5000 units of Maltese Light Arms was hauled to Freeport 6 and are safe and secure awaiting transport to Roussillon for further examination.

Vendredi they were chasing down an Order Resheph-class cruiser, the RV Kebechet, luckily we arrived in time to take them down before the cruiser fell. It appears they either repair fast or ran out of new names for capital vessels, because two days later we took out another (or the same) Storta with the same name, again in Tau-37. Caporal Charron suffered a minor accident but is fine already. Detailed reports are below.
