Alison chuckles, gazing longingly at the sleeping Lavinia
"Nono, that's not...quite what I had in mind. Interesting you went there however"

Kane blinked. "The hell else did you possibly have in mind?"
He gently stroked the back of Lavinia's neck.

Lavinia shifted slightly, her head against Kane's chest, and she opened one eye to observe the pair. The glow from her eye pulsed slightly as she looked between the pair, her arms still wrapped around Kane.

Kane sighed. "Look, Alison," he said. "I'm trying to have a really good evening here with Lavinia. I don't know if you're trying to prevent that, or if you just don't like to see someone else having a good time with her, or what. All I'm asking, is that you kindly stop being such a thorn in my side and let me just live my life."

Alison looked shocked, and stood up glaring at Kane.
"Suppose you aren't worth my time then."
She looks down slightly to Lavinia
"Feel free to join me lovey" Alison heads towards the exit of the bar slowly

Lavinia watched Alison walk, and after a moment, it clicked, and she sat up suddenly, following her slightly panicked. "A-Alison! Don't go!"
She reached her, clinging onto her arm and looking around, the bar once again seeming cold and hostile.

Kane sat up and closed his eyes, letting his head fall back on the top of the couch's backrest.
God dammit.
He thought about Lavinia, and then about Alison. He thought about people he knew, people who had died... people he wish he knew better. Friends. Family.
His happiness faded away.

X glared at Kane for a moment, no visible expression on his face, the underside of his helmet pulled back to allow him to drink. He then turned to Lavinia, who had gripped Alison's arm.
I wonder, I wonder...

Lavinia looked back at Kane, and suddenly guilt laced her mind. She turned to Alison, hugging her, and whispered in her ear.
"I'll see you later...I'm...i'm going to stay with Kane for a while..."
She then hugged her a little tighter, before releasing her and walking back to where Kane was sitting, sitting down lightly beside him.
