Today I was notified, that there were navy scum out there. First I undocked from Ouray base and headed to my attack group. I scouted a enemy carrier and I asked lord commander if shall engage, since I was piloting a bomber. He replied negative. We regrouped at Norfolk until a cruiser and other Navy scums showed up. After trash talking and impolitely calling out their wickedness, Bounty Hunter scums showed up. We regrouped and we were met by several caps, after my commander ordered me to switch to my fighter Cruisers and Gunboats showed up. We fought our best ravaging many pilots and tearing apart their ships. We did suffer massive damage but luckily only 1 other was injured besides myself. My destruction of my ship was caused by a nearby cruiser after I was ordered to follow and intercept that fighter. I was able to do good amount of damage, but she flew to hug a nearby cruiser. I followed like a madman filled with rage. Then i was shot down by a cruiser shot. Luckily an officer tractored me in and delivered me to Ouray base. I am waiting for my medical debriefing, and I looking forward to get away from needles. I rather get beat up 2 liberty dreadnoughts than take a needle. Ahhhhh nooo, noooo! get that thing away from me!! Nooo, not again!!! Somebody Help!! Somebody get me outta medical!

Guess who it is folks: your favorite duo Major Frosthearth and Major Pain! Today we deployed from Ouray and invaded New York from the debris field. Near Manhattan we were noticed by members of the 5th Navy squadron and the LPI. After a prolonged attempt to convert the navy brat on our side we finally got down to business and showed them the might of the Legion!

To be fair, my ship also suffered critical damage and Frosthearth had to pick up my pod before we got swarmed with navy and police officers. So Tharog I really don't understand why I am the one writing this report on my nursing bed with my broken leg, while you're out there somewhere getting drunk!

Report Begins
A few days ago we performed an offensive in New York against the Adirondack Station with 7 pilots. The navy, police and bounty hunters were very slow to react, but the station's shield stayed online long enough. Once the defenders began attacking the Hellfire formation, we held our ground and chewed most of the onslaught. Several navy warships and snubcrafts were destroyed in exchange of three prosecutors. However, we couldn't commit to the base's destruction.
Due to the overwhelming numbers, we were forced to retreat to Colorado, where the fight carried on, ending up with the destruction of a dreadnought. We then proceeded to scatter and lost contact with the Navy in the rock fields.
During the attack the Damocles and the Last Sunrise recieved a couple of scratches.

Hail, fellow legionnaires! Major Pain here, reporting in with some news from the last week.
From 5 days ago: During a standard patrol in California I received word from a trader of small pirate activity in Texas. By the time I got there, two members of the 5th had already dispersed the pirates from the lanes. How dare they scare off my prey?! Naturally I poured my anger over their poor souls. One was set ablaze, but the other one managed to escape.
From 3 days ago: What do you know, it's those pesky 5th Navy boys again. Their activity has grown even more than the LN's and I believe this might turn in to an issue soon. Regardless, I managed to purify Cali from their presence for the time being.
From yesterday: I was just wrapping up the final tour around Colorado when my lane suddenly broke. Almost hit my face in the window of my cockpit. When I turned my head I noticed the silhouette of the culprit. I spent several minutes of listening to his pleads of how he had to feed a family and whatnot, but when he said that the Legion were no different from the Rogues something in me cracked. Decided to return the favor and crack his ship wide open!

Myself, along with fellow Major Tharog Frosthearth, started out on a scouting mission around the New York system.
On the Manhattan-Detroit lane we got two signals on scanners, one representing an outcast and another of a 5th| pilot. After having a look at the situation we decided we could silence them a bit. First to get shot down was the outcast, as it was trying to run anyways. Futile. Next on the line was The Navy pilot. However just before I was getting done with him, another buddy from his division comes to the aid, backed by a Siege Cruiser and a Freelancing Orca Gunboat.
After a bit of intense fighting, we were backed up by a gunboat from the secondary feet of the legion, along with one of the best pilots on our fleet. All except for one of the cowardly Navy pilots were demolished. No losses were received.
Afterwards, we docked on Ouray base to repair any damage received.

To all the men and women serving the Legion, I wish to extend my both my gratitude and pride in you for having kept the torch burning for the past 3 years during my absence. My name is Samuel Locklear, and for those who do not yet know I've been selected by the government of Guadalajara to serve as the Legion's new Lord Commander.
Markus Brass' reasons for departing are many and varied, but they are personal and private to him. After his many long years of service he intends to spend the rest of his days on Guadalajara, a peace he has fought hard for and earned.
As the first elected Lord Commander in Legion history, I believe it is time to close a dark chapter and begin anew. Men and women like Drake Thastus, Denelo Mori, and Grace Callahan laid out the blueprints and poured down a base for the foundation of the Legion, but in those dark times it was as much a fight for survival as it was for the people of Liberty. Given the circumstances, there were only so much that these pillars of the Legion could do.
For twenty years the Hellfire Legion has existed. We've sworn to be the shield that guards House Liberty, the scales which weigh the sins of its betrayers, and the blade which cuts them down. For twenty years we've failed to fulfill that oath. We allow Liberty's media to brand us as traitors and terrorists. We've been known to ignore our sworn enemies when it suits us, and we've been complacent at best and tyrannical at worst in our actions.
I do not believe it is the people of Liberty who are to fault for this. I believe that we have been doing so much with so little for so long, that we have forgotten that this is a fight for the future, not for ourselves. To this end I am commencing Operation Logos, a campaign to win the hearts and minds of the Libertonian people, and to serve as doctrine for the Legion's actions in the years to come. There is also a project that the Legion will begin work on, commencing immediately. You can access information on Operation Logos and Project Hesperia at the Legion Operations Database.

Patrol began towards the Colorado system. We had reports of Revels needing assistance, so myself and Lord Commander Locklear went to help in his patrols. We ran into a Crimson Cross gunboat and a pirate that went by the codename "Toast" when we were about to begin our patrol, my own vessel taking out the outcast support ship with the pirate fleeing. The Lord Commander was going to speak to a bounty hunter, but soon we became aware of a cloaked battleship. We called in support of the Ven'Gyr once it entered battle with us, the Liberty dreadnought did very little before being destroyed.
The hunter was still around, so the Lord Commander decided to take him on alone and sent us off on a patrol. When we entered New York, we encountered some Rogues, a fighter and a gunboat. Myself and Williams took them off with little effort, clearing the lanes. We had reports from civilians of a pirate problem in Pennsylvania, so we hurried to the system. After a quick scan around, we found him at Planet Erie, causing problems for local transports and civilian vessels. He claimed the space to be his, and once we stepped in we found his claim to be hot air. Williams took him out cleanly as he attempted to run.

The patrol began from Ouray Base, to New York. When I arrived, our Lord Commander was engaged with a Liberty Rogue, with numerous Liberty Navy watching. During the duel, a buddy of the Rogue came to assist, and I was ordered to engage. The first Rogue, which was a bomber, was destroyed with ease by our Lord Commander, and then he destroyed the fighter that came to assist. You would think they learned their lesson, but no, another one comes, and engages me. It took me some time, considering he was suicidal, but I managed to land a Antimatter on him. By the time I did that, our Lord Commander had already destroyed the fighter, and now we were facing a Liberty Navy squad of various ships. I was ordered to grab the Crimson 1 off Ouray, and come back, because I was in a "Cutlass" Bomber, and wouldn't be of much use if a fight broke out. In the meantime, reinforcements arrived, and a battle eventually broke out between us. After a solid hour or so, I would say, we have destroyed all of their fighters, and didn't lose any. As we were about to leave, a Siege Cruiser rolled up, and engaged our Gunboat. I left the Gunboat and the Siege Cruiser to their business, and headed for Colorado, where I was followed by a pesky Carrier, a blood thirsty Hunter, and a Navy fighter. The Carrier gave up, the blood thirsty Hunter was disappointed in the Navy, and left. I was left to duel the Guardian, and he was destroyed with ease.

After a regular patrol in Colorado, we (Fallen, Crimson.1 and myself) encountered three Navy pilots near Ouray base.More Navy ships as well as Bounty Hunters showed up to eliminate us. As we realized that we were outnumbered, we docked on Ouray to plan further instructions.
After a few minutes, Xeno vessels showed up to assist us in the fight. Aforementioned Legionaries fought the Navy and Hunters alongside the Xenos Alliance.
