Civilian and cruiser do not mix. From a devpoint, I'll simply not approve those. A gallic civilian gunboat is something I can get behind - both their lawful and unlawful factions could use one.

P.S. Explanation "oh but they got Outcasts/Nomads to fight against" is really piss poor as house corporations got equally tough enemies yet they're treated like underdogs and get told "go make navy cap alts" by the admins. Allowing other civilians to anything about gunboat in that situation is creating double standard and messing with game balance. All three cap-wielding factions mentioned above can "go and make navy alts" as well.

It's true (and I do agree) that you've got Colonial and Order caps to be "navy alts" for IMG and Zoners respectively. I wouldn't put AIs in the same category, but that's a fairly silly state of affairs anyway.
I said in the thread a couple of times (and more on Skype) for the new IMG ID to lose BSes as we'd heard was happening, guess AD still really likes that idea... Sagas, I don't have too much of a problem with but most use other types (Thannies) anyway. At least next version DHC (and Kruger) won't have Hessians engaging them right off the mark, and with a fix to O-11 it should be a bit easier anyway.
As for Zoners (I see Tel-Aviv is probably getting ready to strike), I guess they would be handled or ignored as the whole indy caps debate - all or nothing, too much power for indies etc.

I can tell you that the way it looks, (if it's indeed a small cruiser) it'd be used by RNS-, primarily. (that is, if current Obstinate stats will stay the same - but they wont, afaik)

How about not doing this thing, and also remove all zoner capital ships which make no sense in general?
That juggy, as people say meant to be colony ship iRP, but it's used for battles, which zoners trying to avoid as far as I know. That carrier makes no sense at all either. Well, maybe a little, but still it's not something that should be equipped for fight. And that deep space explorer that basicaly one of most OP cruisers on discovery...
Seriously, make them all transport or liner class, then they will be used for the purpose they meant to be used by factions or indies who wanna RP rather then pew.

dont blame all zoners, for the actions of ***** indies and one fractious unofficial faction full of clueless people.
