The cheaters causing server issues are far more important then worrying about you and your friend. You were obviously getting in the way when he was trying to deal with it, not many here would fault him for wanting to deal with the cheaters as quickly as possible.
did you lose anything?
were you acting a bit like an annoyance?
was your friend being an annoyance?
the community is much larger then just you, he was working for the good of all of us.

in addition to all the points already mentioned above in abundance, i would like to add that next time, if you have a complaint against an admin, please, try and avoid yet -another- trial by forum, and put the complaint in to the admins, with -sufficient proof-.
trial by forums normally end up in flame fests or such, and we all know were that ends up going on disco.
