This might not be exactly what you are looking for, but I find that a Lynx with 4 Claymores + 2 Culverins + MR does the job well. It has thick armor, it's reasonably fast and have a big powercore. And those guns hurt a lot. 6860 hull damage per shot without the MR.
If you like lighter ships, get a shotgun eagle.
Or Outcast Wyrm Bayo and no codes.

So with the codes it seems i'll get any with 650ms, since i like 'em fast...
Still not sure about VHF - I'm a plain Freelancer, until i (hopefully) get accepted into Hellfire ... which i wont make probably, since they are extremly picky.
My bet would probably be Sabre thne, if i can use it OR Eagle, since i like the agility.

I fly a Wasupu with 4x Golden Blades (650m/s), 2 debs (650m/s) and mini razor (centered).
Works fine although I rarely PvP with it. (Conn-tested though.)

From those 3, I'd take the wasupu, althought I got to try the touketsu yet.
Picking low energy codenames like onyx or wildfires is the best option, although flashpoints will do better.
If you want to choose between all the VHFs, it depends on what you will do with them. I'm taking that you'll use a FL ID.
1: Groupfights: Sabre with 650ms (magnet)
2: 1 vs 1: Eagle.
3: Everything: Sabre with mix speed (sniper).
Magnet example: 3 debs 4 claymores.
Sniper example: 2 vampires, 1 deb 650, 1 code 600ms, 1 code 625ms, 2 codes 650ms.
