Never got more than "100 mils of die!" rp when caught on a barge, even if the worth of the cargo was less than 50 mils in total. It seems pirate players just orgasm spontaneously when they manage to find a Barge.
Then they underestimate endurance of a Barge, which is unloaded while under fire directly under the attackers' noses and explodes empty, spawning on the base that has the commodity they wanted to have.
The trollface is on the Barge's side in all piracy encounters I had when flying the Barge.

Once I got 100m, once 200m once I organised half cargo unload, once we managed to take the whole 40k after killing it. The lowest I guess is like 20m for empty one.
If the Barge is not cap8 it does not take much time to kill it even in single bomber, the good thing is that GB escorts cannot effectively protect barge like they can protect transport.

It's thought of as a symbiotic relationship....I believe nomads may be involved....although I'm quite certain one could store quite a bit in the "blue thing"....

Perhaps some sort of Wilde transport? High mass, high cargo, very wide. Good all round but can get stuck in asteroid fields. But you really should see those engine effects when in cruise... Damn they're bright.

Depends on what kind of cargo it has. if its empty it would be
8x (8x as much cargo as a stork)
Empty stork =2 mill so barge 16 mill (empty)
etc etc
