While such a thing would be nice in the sense of having someone always looking out for the well-being of the ingame situations, it would start to feel like the Big Bro's watching all the time.

Would be nice and Id love to be in that kind of server rules police.
But not gonna happen. People who really can do this job either busy with factions to spend more time on police job, either not loved/trusted enough by admins.
Id wish that people just stop being a retards in a first place and not break rules or being pain in ass via loop holes in those.

The only people who would be good for the job are already taken up as admins or moderators. Anyone else wouldn't be good for the job. Heck, even half of the admins wouldn't be good for the job. It's a bad to throw people who will not do the job correctly into a situation like that.
Is it me, or is that the general attitude here? Like how we believe that hardly anyone is up for any sort of job? Though I can totally understand if the reality is that hardly anyone who plays Disco is competent enough for such a job.

There you go. It's not so much a problem in the idea stages, you just need people who would be good for the job and are active enough to do it.

I didn't mean active per se, but ok.
Perhaps they need to think outside the box a bit? (Or perhaps outside the skype friends?) There's a lot of active people who could potentially fit the role. Maybe.
That's a constantly changing thing though, as seen with people who are here one minute then suddenly disappear of the radar for eternity.

By definition here, anyone who has access to the server commands are admin.
People who are not admin will not be gaining access to said commands.
Hence all you are asking for is more admin?

If the administration decided to focus on forum moderation, merged the positions and increase their ranks to handle the additional workload, sure.
But alas they have forum mods concentrate on forum modding and admin on server administration.
Until then I will just state the answers given to previous threads about this issue.
