hes not killing zoner npcs.

But you are absolutely right. However it seems to go against zoner RP to force those who use the ID to use Zoner RP (IE not randomly killing ANY human or AI ships). Vicious circle......

I also think its B.S. that Pirates can operate with Freelancer IF. It seems that every advantage go's to the pirates when it comes to RP.

I have no real problem with this. What is a problem related to this, however, is how easy it is to rename.

Image that the pirate mentioned in the OP actually starts pirating. A transport pilot screams to the LPI "help, <player x> is a pirate!". The LPI plops them into their giant, impossible to manage database.

The next day, said player has renamed to something else and can do it all again with no consequences.

Edit:

And, of course, bounty boards.

What may help in this is to increase renaming cooldown period (to at least two weeks, because who needs to rename his ship every week...) and renaming fee.

Yet not everyone is rotten enough to abuse every loophole you find.

You have no idea then. Plenty of people like that around.
That and I just enjoy trying to find every little nuance to exploit just for the mental image of how this could be done. Makes me smile.
Not that I actually do it ingame.

I bet 2/3 of players don't give crap about rule abuse and just play the game to enjoy it.

While the remaining 1/3 is always trying to bend them, exploit and abuse rules.

So think about it and what say you? Maybe it's time to let it go and jsut play the game like it is supposed to be done?

Don't get me wrong here, the idea is sound, but the one problem is that if you have the account manager you can easily bypass any time limit

Snake, I thought after 3 years of playing here, you too can't really play the game as it is ''supposed'' to be play anymore.
Woud you at least agree to that statement?
