RE: So uh, Consoles. - Oorn - 11-16-2013 Original xbox was interesting, ps2 is still awesome. Both x360 and ps3 are somewhat meh, although I quite enjoyed mine ps3. Ps4 not looking too awesome, I will miss old interface, stupid MS and their square fetish. Why does everyone go like ugly win8? Xbone should not even be mentioned, it does so much wrong, while doing so little right. Fun fact: I played ps2 more than ps3 this gen. RE: So uh, Consoles. - Pavel - 12-02-2013 Moving to proper subforum RE: So uh, Consoles. - Thargoid - 12-02-2013 Since I refuse to give MS money, it would be a Playstation, but the last console I bought was a PS2, still play it on occasion. I'd rather spend my money on a decent PC gaming rig. RE: So uh, Consoles. - Enkidu - 12-02-2013 PC iz dominant.
You can also utilise it as a console, or so I hear. And, oh yes, graphics, processing power, using it for things other than gaming such as earning money. Easier to manipulate, longer shelf-life, less games only depictable with expletives. Oh, and Occulus. RE: So uh, Consoles. - Lonely_Ghost - 12-03-2013 I had first PS around at 2001-02, and I was mad from NFS high stakes, Dune 2000, HPs, MoH, Panzerfront, Star wars.... oh memouries.... oh childhood. I prefer PC now, because of multifunctionality. All necessary stuff needed for study, work and other projects, and it also can be awesome for gaming. Why to buy console, if PC can be ok for gaming too? RE: So uh, Consoles. - Thargoid - 12-03-2013 Indeed, why buy what is essentially a low spec PC that's restricted to only playing games, pointless. RE: So uh, Consoles. - Govedo13 - 12-03-2013 Console games are too easy and casual to be fun playing them. Also if you like to play on tv buy PC and controller and connect it to the same tv that you connect your console. Sadly consoles as concept are made for poor people, hence console games are simple and cheap. The bad thing is that the game developers try to use the same model for making PC games in the last 4-5 years. The main argument of the core console users is that they cannot afford proper gaming PC or that they are incapable to maintain their PC keeping it running and virus-free. RE: So uh, Consoles. - Scumbag - 12-03-2013 I am playing PS2 games on my PC with a 360 controller. So.. that. RE: So uh, Consoles. - Thargoid - 12-03-2013 I'm playing Zelda - Ocarina of Time (N64) on my PC with a PS2 controller. Love this game! |
