Having said that, join a faction (an official one) on at least one of your characters and don't buy a capital ship.

And, dont limit yourself to one character, explore a little. The are a lot of fun factions out there and they are all very different.
Third and last: Join The Union of Gold!! post in our recruitment thread or send me a message if you are interested. Im not saying you should rush headlong into it though. Take a little while, make a little background and learn about us first. also joining one of our many trading factions can really help to fund your other characters. UOG will completely pay for your character with us though.
Thanks for the recruitment plugs, but I'm content with one character for now, may get a couple more later. And we will try our hardest to RP, give us a bit to adapt though.

Why I picked it, I think it embodies a Corsair pretty nicely. The others are, so far, Fast.Company, Take.It.Easy, Outlaw.Man, Hotel.California, and Midnight.Flyer.

Hey, thanks! We're trying our hardest. I filed my first sanction report today (some trader said I was breaking the rules by pirating him, said he'd call the admins on me, then when I killed him he came at me with an Order Talon. When I was beating him, he ran and said he'd be back in a Huntress... Then cursed at me). Not fun...

No, he said he was going to buy one, and put a bounty on me. Heck, that's the second bounty threat I've gotten (the first being 100mil from some trader who landed on Cadiz to avoid me). This server is fun:D
