Josh, it is NOT a way to do that, I'd very much like to face them with even odds but these exploits of every possible hole in the rules and the game itself is really lame, not to mention the fact that they do stand and fight when are only double in numbers and firepower against a slow moving target. If I had the 5 or 6 Tizona turrets like they did, they would have ran again.
H***, Assassin (MoonSpawn) was alone against me and I was having a really bad lag he started cruising on me as soon as I got his shields down (he didn't screan bloody lag when he pounded my shields to 0 power, but neither did I, I FOUGHT NOT RUN) even though I was properly armed, as a cruiser should be = 1 Inferno, 1 Light Mortar, 4x Cruiser Missile Turret, 2x Cerberus Cruiser Turret, 4x Light Corsair Turret.
I thought fighter turrets on capships are unbalanced and I armed my cruiser according to common sense the BS shield was there as I scanned the CUFF cruisers and saw the BS shields on them.
But you all say that it's OK to have them now - OK! But I better not hear ANYONE scream bloody murder when getting pwned by such a loadout in 20 sec by me or any other AW!
I am hereby ordering a refit of all the cruisers and gunboats in the fleet according to these rules.
As for your new allies, Josh, I am glad that you started seeing who they really are, how do you think they've beat the Tyr Regiment in a war that lasted 5 months? Ask them to be honest and tell the truth! Does BASECAMPING sound familiar?
I am really sick of this, Wolf is right, it's bringing out the worse in us all, the AW and CUFF. Why can't you people have a honorable war with great battles in VR and stories of great courage and skill and above all - have FUN?

OK Guys, we have 2 threads now Huggy bashing. Whats the point. I can remember
evenings in Connecticut kicking the sh*t out of one with a few fighters ... Its not
invincible you know .. It can't be set up to deal with BSs AND fighters well ...
We don't have Marsflyer turrets to rely on, thank God.
If you are going up against one or two, set the tactics to deal with them .. It makes the
PvP more of a challenge anyhow, and isn't that what the game is all about.

Ok, as for the CUFF part, we told you what'd happen.
As for the huggy being unbalanced, why keep altering it? It went from a pretty good ship practically everyone was using to being, it seems, the most hated ship we've got.
If you want it to be 'balanced' change the class 10 turrets into class 9. That way it can use the class 9 gunboat turrets or fighter turrets.
Before anyone starts having a go at me,...
Go scan the NPC huggys which all have molly and rogue class 7 (their best) turrets mounted. Assuming the huggy still has a torpedo/CD mount you can always use the torpedo mounted inferno cannon on it.

ok first of all i will start by saying that im not a fan of the hugenot, it has never appealed to me. Secondlty we see all of these complaints about it and im getting sick of the whole thing, if igiss and the rest of the mod team are trying to fix the problems then fair enough but if they have tried and havent succeeded then more radical action should be taken. If the Hugenot cant be fixed properly then it should be removed by making it purchaseable on the lost battlestar only and putting a console note on the server telling everyone to sell theirs. Now flame me all you want i dont care IMO the hugenot has been more trouble that its worth and the time wasted on trying to make it balanced should be spent on making ships that fit the game better like an Order Cruiser and (jamez will love this) an Order Gunboat. Let the flamming commence :)

Alpha: Order gunboat? I thought the Order only had the Osiris because they nicked it from the Liberty Navy? How did they make the Anubis? Did they just design it themseves? :$ . Mabye you should make a seperate thread for this?

Erm Gezza if the navy made the osiris as an experimental BS then wouldnt they have made an Experimental Cruiser and maybe even Gunboat to back up the Osiris or we could say that the Order designed them to protect their Osiris after the original one was destroyed.
