RE: Make it mandatory that unofficial groups have a feedback thread. - sindroms - 02-03-2014 Feedback threads rarely work anyway. As long as the topic owner retains the right to close his own thread, they can evade any sort of negative feedback anyway. The best thing you can do is, if the group is doing something that harms the region they play in, simply post a thread addressed to the group at hand and say something along the lines of "since you guys do not have a feedback thread, I made one for you. So here's what's up...'' RE: Make it mandatory that unofficial groups have a feedback thread. - Lythrilux - 02-03-2014 I think it'd be better to just drop PMs then. Thanks for the replies guys, this thread is a bit obsolete. I don't mind if it's used for further discussion or is locked RE: Make it mandatory that unofficial groups have a feedback thread. - Haste - 02-03-2014 Making it mandatory to have a feedback thread for any faction is stupid. That is all. RE: Make it mandatory that unofficial groups have a feedback thread. - Jack_Henderson - 02-03-2014 As long as it is not even mandatory to have one as an official faction, we - imo - cannot demand unofficials to have one. I would generally say that every organised group should have one. RE: Make it mandatory that unofficial groups have a feedback thread. - Eduard - 02-03-2014 There are even some official groups who turn down their feedback threads. I deem feedback threads to be a derail from their true purpose, people use it to murk the said faction with bad reputation and find an extra thread/environment to cause drama in way more often than he'd like to offer constructive feedback or criticism. If someone would really want to offer feedback through a sensible, civilized approach he can use PMs just as easy and as such, the inconveniences can also be solved intimately away from unnecessary eyes. Why apprehend inconveniences and problems in feedback threads in the eyes of everyone so everyone can see it? People use this little gimmick so that they will make a scene of said factions there. |
