For the sake of us who don't want to read a 100,000 word thread, can those of you who've read the various faction's stories gives us who haven't a summary of each?
I'm interested, but not enough to vote the time and energy needed to read all that colored text.

In my opinion, we do not need either a replacement nor the "Phantoms" themselfes in the current sirius.
I read through "The Revenants" backstory and faction creation request.
It is a nice idea, but it somehow does'nt make sense. Its like forcing some background just to implement the technology of the phantoms.
Did not read the Etherium stuff but as statet above, in my opinion we do not need any kind of "Phantom or Phantom like faction".
Edit:
Did read the "Etherium" story and tent to like them a little better, then "The Revenants".
Still, my opinion stays the same, leave the "Phantoms" and their stuff a myth and leave the Daam K'Vosh alone.

I read about the Etherium and Sylossa and I like them both. While both ideas a great the Etherium has a better written lore. It's hard to chose between those two. I'll be reading about the Revenant now.
I also had an idea about a new alien faction but I'm too lazy to think about all its features. The big picture was a combination of Krogans (from Mass Effect) and Predators with the NomNoms as Aliens. An aggressive race that lives to hunt stuff, be it their original prey (nomads) or the newly discovered humans. But that's just an idea that I never got to write about.

My job here is to serve the community, not try and shoehorn in an idea that the community clearly does not want, or push aside a concept that they would like better.
Therefore, due to community feedback in this thread, I will withdraw my Revenant faction proposal and make way for something more palatable to the community.
