I hate April fools day. But never beleive anything anyone tells you on that day. Also never pay attention to, or look at non-technical OOC threads and posts particularly in the flood. That way disaster lies.
A reminder to all the people saying "its just a joke" and looking surprised and incredulous. Some people are particularly sensetive stuff. You have to expect that occationaly some one comes along and does not get the joke and is genuinly hurt. If you don't look at the options its easy to see how that could happen. Not everyone will be robust and go "aw you guys what jokers you are".
So we ended up woth some one who was, hurt humiliated and feeling stupid all for a joke that was not very funny.

While I agree that various people have varying levels of sensitivity, it is April Fools for one. Second off, had he looked at any of the comments beneath the original one, he would have seen blatant posts indicating it was not about him, but was a joke. There were posts in there even saying what that link was and how it worked.

Regardless, my 2nd point is still valid. If people are going to make drastic decisions without even reading the comments on such threads in Flood, then unfortunately they have brought it on themselves.
