Is the program HUDSHIFT still able to be used. If not is there a way to manually do what the program did.

HUDSHIFT is still usable, yes.
Swag Pack will overhaul everything such as the HUD, Starspheres, planets etc.

The "Swag Pack" actually includes the other three links already, so you only need to add those individually if you don't want everything in the Pack. The entire pack should be compatible with Discovery.

Hudshift now comes packaged with the Discovery mod. You can find the configuration file at C:\...\Discovery Freelancer 4.87.0\EXE\HudShift.ini.
If adjusting the settings of that file does not work, copy HudShift.ini to:
C:\...\Discovery Freelancer 4.87.0\DATA\INTERFACE\

Do not use HD Planet Textures. It not work with Discovery.
