First hour of my "Project" in space and we were ambushed by Xeno forces... We couldn't do much against them, our short range defense couldn't beat their bombers. Whatever... Everyone survived and Hogoshans brought us to Golden Dragon casino. I hope they will help us and repair our Gaia's park. Everything else you know from Flora's and Andreas's report.

Dr. Kingsnorth reporting in on the situation with the development of the raw hydrocarbon in the Manchester System, which you know is developed by Bretonia Mining and Manufacturing, a subsidiary of our hated enemy BMM. Judging by the preliminary readings I've mined out of the Geiger counters on our patrols, the area surround Fortitudine is becoming increasingly irradiated, although it hasn't been conclusively linked to the mining operations. The cause of such radiation is likely the result of their cracking process or the venting process for waste onboard Fortitudine itself. In a time of war, the Bretonia government is turning a blind eye to these destructive processes because of the industrial materials and exports produced. Anyways, I've put together a small team aboard a modified Correo, SV-Silent.Spring to investigate the aggregating radiation. More in depth reports to follow.

Dr. Kingsnorth reporting in on the refitting of the SV-Silent.Spring. A "Correo" Class Combat Freighter, I bought the vessel for a pretty penny of a destitute corsair on the junker rock in New London. It's in pretty good shape, even though it came off the production line on Skiros in 812. It's a perfect machine for studying the radiation field in Manchester as the ablative plating its been previously retrofitted with is a graphene composite, making it extremely resistant to the effects of radiation of all types, and excellent control environment for our tests.

The test will be run with the most extreme scientific rigor studying the mining process, the processing platform, and the waste management systems on Fortitudine. Additionally, we will be studying the shielding on the BMF vessels themselves and the effect that this special radiation has on BMF's employees as well as a control group of microbes.

As of this moment we are starting out by outfitting Silent Spring with the proper equipment, med stasis equipment, bio-stabilization monitors, and various other paraphernalia. We've already picked up some of the kit. We also tested the weapon systems with the help of Sister Flora, dismantling a quite belligerent Stork.

If the opportunity, I'll be reaching out to Cryer for the acquisition of anti radiation pharmas, like G-CSF or the more military grade Ex-RAD injection base medicine.

Good day Watchers,

My third report on Project Silent Spring. I am happy to report that all materials have been collected and added to the ship's mainframe. From the general schematics of a disabled hydrocarbon rig, I hired a Gallic Corporation (not a big name one) to reproduce the setup on a small scale in Cargo Bay A. Turns out that hydrocarbons are a big business in Gallia, however it appears that their fields lack any dangerous irradiation, and use a different proprietary cracking catalyst. The point being, it is not impossible for Bretonia Mining and Fabrication to find a more environmental friendly technique, even if they refuse to halt their operation.

I've taken some hyrdocarbon samples from Gallia and fracking compounds to reverse engineer to use as a control group. The Silent Spring is ready to deploy in Manchester and begin material collection although it would be great if you could include some escort pilots as the ship has to remain almost completely stationary to drill on such a small scale.

Finally, regarding finding anti radiation medication for my science team, in the case of unwanted exposure, I've decided that Med Force Enterprises will be my go to for obtaining what I need. They are a Zoner group who will hopefully be impartial to the actions the Watchers have been associated with.

Oh, what a day!

It seems that we have stumbled upon a new... "friend". The first "talks" weren't very fruitful, but I think that we've made a good impression.
Oh wait, I haven't mentioned who we actually met!
We've met a nomad, some kind of a very big morph, to be exact. It seemed to be a some kind of... Bomber? Anyway, I wasn't really able to get any precise scans of it.

The whole encounter started when a liberty siege cruiser opened fire at Mildra. It was pretty obvious for me to move in, but then this nomad appeared from nowhere and started to assist us. So, with it's help we've mopped up the floor with that cruiser. The nomad decided to depart at the moment of cruiser's explosion.

Then there was a boring break in which Mildra has made some deals with sir Marwick. I'm not aware of any details though.

Later on, when we were on our way back to Holm, the nomad appeared again. And this is where the fun starts!

"Interesting day" (credits to Flora). Surprise, surprise! My USI contact finally came back with intel about BMF operations. Well, more like a research, than intelligence collecting job. He showed me that BMF are raising the radiation in the mining areas by simply... mining. The radiation exists but it is contained inside the asteroids. When they break them, they release it. They're accelerating the process with their operation. That's enough to put an end to BMF in Manchester. Of course, Bretonia won't care. They're fighting a war and need the materials so we're going to do this the hard way. I'll give BMF an ultimatum. They have two weeks to dismantle their bases and get the hell out of Manchester. Meanwhile, start working on your contacts and see who can help us attacking those bases. I understand the Corsairs denied a recent invitation. We should think of a way for them to get here unharmed. I'm thinking of jumping coordinates.

I just returned from a very, very boring hunt. It's like everyone knew I was eager to flush some credits from traders... and they stopped coming. Anyway, I managed to score a hit. Nothing fancy, just a guy that didn't want to share his drinks with me. He had his vessel destroyed. I can't understand people that don't use their communication devices.

Hey there!

I've just came back from my first talks with Samura. I have to admit that it looks promising. Here's what I've determined so far:

- We will be able to buy supplies at their bases, however our raiders will have to operate from Hogosha's and Farmer's bases. We also should avoid overt cooperation with Samura.
- While Samura finds our offer interesting, Kusarian authorities may have a little bit different opinion.
- If we want to push our deal further, we need to prove our skills first. Hunting time.
- Their representative really wants to have sex with me.

I think that we're on a good path. Now I'll have to contact Hogosha to complete the formalities. Well, that's all for now. Also, as a side note, we should discretly investigate relations between Samura's executives and their servants.

One more day like this and the gauls will give us the command of a Valor. I picked up chaotic talks over the comms about an imminent battle in Leeds so... naturally I headed there. Flora joined me and together we entered the biggest space battle I've ever been part of. Lots of capital ships clashed a few klicks away from Planet Leeds. After a few warning shots and several skirmishes of some fighters, the monsters engaged and that's where out two Panthers came in handy. We started to bombard the enemy ships and Flora even scored a kill. I can't remember what she managed to take out but it was big. My guncam was damaged during the fight so I won't send any visual information. Maybe Flora will.

After that, we moved back to Manchester and I decided to hit the lanes. We ended up with a teenager stalking us and Flora managed to get another kill and a deal with the FL-ER. And yeah, she's surrounding herself with admirers. I guess that trip to Kusari really turned her on. *giggles*
