Capital Ship Registration. - Jura_II - 09-07-2008 The questions i would like to ask here are: Is it so hard to register? And if it is, why is it hard? Capital Ship Registration. - Mr_3ppozz - 09-07-2008 ' Wrote:So...ehm...how, exactly, are we supposed to enforce registration policies, if not by destroying noncompliant vessels? Are we going to fine them? Make them sit in a corner? I still think that the "regulation" is unneeded, you can do what you like. The point of destroying them as to regulate it? Just find another way would be my suggestion, yes point them to a corner after fining them. Guard them with something that can handle mentioned ship. But avoid destroying it at all costs... its madness for an Outcast to destroy ANY Outcast ship (apart from the stolen ones by foe's) Capital Ship Registration. - Eppy - 09-07-2008 I heard somebody say 'fix it'. O.< HOW are we going to fix it? There's nothing to fix. There isn't any way to fine them and put them in a corner, they can just log on the minute we leave. The only practical way is to harass their vessel at every opportunity and exile them from Outcast space. Capital Ship Registration. - Mr_3ppozz - 09-07-2008 Well, if you like ruining the other players experience with herassment and forcing him out of the place he wants to be... You be my guest, but dont be suprised if one would report you for those very cases Capital Ship Registration. - Eppy - 09-07-2008 We've been reported several times. Not a single sanction.

Interfaction relations within server rules will not be sanctioned. This includes the LSF/LN limiting Alaska, RM killing independents who ignore RM authority, and Outcasts forcing other Outcasts to register their capital ships. If a player chooses to go against the nation's grain the nation can and probably will lay on the hurt. It's our right to do so. Capital Ship Registration. - Lucend - 09-07-2008 I don't know if this has been said ... but I take cap ship registration as a means to contact the captain in case we need to get a hold of him. If you register on the forums, we can send you PMs and other things. In short, it gives the main factions some communication with the indies to work out disagreements so we don't work them out over the server, and have more time for RP. Of course, blowing up other ships is clearly NOT PvP:rolleyes: Capital Ship Registration. - n00bl3t - 09-08-2008 ' Wrote:Hey, who's "we"? Well, surprisingly, independent outcasts. Since factionalised ones (except the {SOB} because they were not around before the registration) do not have to register. ' Wrote:Better coordination with the factions? I like your number one reason, however what if everyone knows you fly that ship, and has contact details for you. ' Wrote:First and most important is to get them to join the forums, and maybe get them to read the rules. Since you were in Alpha today Nooblet you saw the numbers, 3 destroyers in there, 2 of which have no idea we have forums. Let alone the server rules. And if they have joined the forums and read the rules? You say three Destroyers there, and two of which had no idea about the forums? What about the third? You should, and the details are available for you on the forum. Since you want to keep track of it you can find it. I can post a link if you want, since I am very kind. Kind of like the 101st saying that they are the sole body of outcastness? ' Wrote:So...ehm...how, exactly, are we supposed to enforce registration policies, if not by destroying noncompliant vessels? ' Wrote:The questions i would like to ask here are: ' Wrote: Put shortly, the reasons listed above. The 1st one is disproven by in-game RP. The 2nd destroys everything my ship has and attacks the majority of ESS RP. The 3rd, I have the rank of Vice-Admiral. I've earned it over time in my clan. Why can I not change my RP? It was written before the 101st Capital Ship Registration, on the ESS forum and posted a day after the capital ship registration so that people would be aware of my ship. I have not been sanctioned once by the way. Nor has my Destroyer been in any Liberty systems. Just thought you'd like to know. Want a linky to the RP? Capital Ship Registration. - Tenacity - 09-08-2008 The reason is simple: You must log onto the forums (i.e. have a forum account) in order to register, if you dont register you get blown up by your own faction for 'stealing' the ship. Players who register on the forums, and are at least somewhat active on the forums, are more likely to understand the rules and have a better concept of RP than someone who has never set eyes on this website.
