Ok I'm sorry but I gotta say this, whats going to be taken better

Or me creating a whole history about a faction that is outta nowhere that "converts and kills planets"...
People would say its the most ridiculous idea ever, until i mentioned it was a parody of Riddick, then they said "ohhh i see thats good."
Point is i see 10 faction ideas a week and they are all the same either a trader group a bunch of pirates or some zealous mercs. If people want an original history then fine i will take 4 hours and write one. What I'm asking about is the RP concept behind it.
If I took the time to write a whole history thats original, will people enjoy (or participate) in this type of RP (converting religously)?

I wouldn't be interested in joining (mostly because I have too many projects in the works), but I wouldn't be against it.

However by similar RP, I'd say simply begin the faction in Sirius. Just as it began somewhere in the Universe, begin it here in Sirius and with some links to current factions. (Agnus Dei come to mind for the other religious faction etc)

Even so, i wouldn't do it. Freelancer is freelancer. Imports would take time away from the next version that <should> be comming out soon.

You cant possibly RP Necros. Yeah we 'borrow' from star wars but nobody has a death star. Necros kill entire planets, good luck with rping that.
You kill the smallest planet on this server you just killed hundreds of hours of other peoples RP, thats not even remotely fair or cool or gonna happen.
Has nothing to do with originality or not. Theres 6 billion people+ on the planet. I freaking DARE anyone to do something completely original. The game mechanics don't allow for it, and other peoples RP doesn't allow for it.
