I do not think you would be. He offered you money, you took the money and then killed him anyways. I think thats smart business (even if a bit douchey), though it was not a piracy demand he pay you so I see nothing wrong with doing it.

People are not going to ask you to not kill them for credits. At least, it's never *ever* happened to me.
Moreover, if anyone catches wind of it; your days as a merc/hunter are most likely over.

Go ahead kill the meaning of bounty hunting. I mean in RP it is legit, but all you are doing that way is trolling the person on the other side for how much 5 million? Remember this is just a game.

You need to stop taking the game serious. Seriously.
Taking his money, killing him, and then claiming the bounty is not only legit, actually it is awesome if it fits.
He's not messing with 'YOU' personally, he's making his jerk of an RP character mess with your gullible RP character. You need to start to be okay with such things or you need to stop trying to be role play altogether.
