Work well on your studies, after a number of years, we want you to write to us again in this thread about what you became. make us proud. If you mean me, then I don't plan on going through college. I already have a job guaranteed at my cousins company (he is working on an auction website, something along the lines of ebay, but regional) as a consultant. Oh and I also do youtube. Not really for a living, but it would be nice to some day be able to make some money from it. I currently run three channels, one of them being pretty serious (over 1200 subscribers, 550 videos, gaming commentary in Polish), one moderately serious (Music Speedart, ~30 subs, 13 videos, see the signature) and one not really serious (I tried doing English commentary there but didn't feel like it was something I'd like to do more, so I just upload my disco vids there). RE: What do you do? job or study or else, & skills? it's a spy thread ;) - Chuba - 10-06-2014 I pretty much do nothing. Apart from playing few games being asshole in forums And hating people irl RE: What do you do? job or study or else, & skills? it's a spy thread ;) - Alley - 10-06-2014 Currently I'm a part-time intern at HSBC while I carry on with my uni studies (atm learning Portuguese, Economics & International Law). They're going to hire me as soon as I'm done with this shit, which is going to be in about five years. I also assist another company with keeping their internal linux web development servers up to date and provide another mod team some 3d animations. I also happen to do code for the disco dev team but that's a little bit irrelevant isn't it. RE: What do you do? job or study or else, & skills? it's a spy thread ;) - Internity - 10-06-2014 I'm a photographer, print / graphic designer and translator at my own firm. RE: What do you do? job or study or else, & skills? it's a spy thread ;) - Strichev - 10-06-2014 Biotechnology student here, beginning my first year. And after less than a week of courses I already don't know what I'm doing. Things like phase contrast microscopy that is supposedly ideal for observing phase objects. For you see, apparently living cells are phase objects, meaning that absorption differences between structures are minimal and differences in refractive index and thickness cannot be detected, because they generate insufficient phase shifts for achieving full constructive or destructive interference of light waves. And so they invented something called the "annulus" that goes into the condenser lens and generates a hollow zero-order illumination cone. (dunno what that is or how it looks yet) My main response to this stuff is...WTF am I doing here. It gets more technical. In a year I'll be playing games 24/7 and not studying anything. Yeah.
