Just realised my phone doesn't have an F5 key, and only 3% battery.

To the laptop! F5 F5 F5 F5 F5 F5 F5 F5 F5 F5!

I doubt that we will make the top 100, since the voting wasn't really given much reminder on the forums- two threads one of which being this one.
Hopefully by the next year if Disco is still around, we will have a redesigned ModDB page and the forum peeps will have added the notice to the front page.

We did go from 246 of 22,697 to 157 of 22,717, so at least there is some activity. Obviously, a non-nieche mod such as Crossfire, which can be played by anyone regardless of their views on RP, is well above Disco and within the Top 100.

One reason I guess, for Crossfire to be above Disco is that, they released Crossfire 2.0 just days before the voting ended, which was, as far as I can see, is graphically pretty awesome. If we had our final version out before the voting, I guess we could have had a top 100 place as well. Atleast, we can remodify the ModDB page to make it look more attractive, maybe.

Problem with Crossfire is that it's beautiful in every way but runs horribly, has no balance and is generally nothing but the playground of swat operator. It's pretty damn annoying to see all this nice work done for nothing and it's not hard to prove that Crossfire is unplayable.

I think that being in the top 200 out of 22.717 mods on Moddb isn't bad at all,

so hurray for disco, the most active freelancer server, and that for a game that's over 10 years old!

Indeed.
Not bad.

Let's keep the thing alive and do better for next year (sun)

guess that we should do some advertisement ?..
make more gameplay/tut/etc.... ?
work on the MODdb page.... ?
this mod is waaaaay better than crossfire 2.0 .. like.. i really dont like it... i dont like their shiny everywhere things ... and the gameplay is kinda shit ..and and most importantly ... MP is freaking dead ... 5 or 6 players... that's it

I am currently working on showcasing all of the major improvements and additions Disco brings to the vanilla game. Some of those I will need help with showing- for example how cloaks are used in ambushes. You know, footage that is usually ran in the background of the video itself.

The ModDB has been picked up again, we're going to start putting out updates. Guess it was left alone for a little too long.
