RE: New POB feature: Blacklisting - Highland Laddie - 01-04-2015 YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!!!!!! THANK YOU! RE: New POB feature: Blacklisting - Gypsie Skripto - 01-04-2015 A great addition! RE: New POB feature: Blacklisting - WesternPeregrine - 01-04-2015 A great addition. Now Pob may receive a different kind of diplomacy. Good work Alley, and kudos to Kazinsal for the original work. RE: New POB feature: Blacklisting - The.Outlaw.Star - 01-04-2015 thank you very much!! RE: New POB feature: Blacklisting - Garrett Jax - 01-04-2015 Thanks to Alley, the server documents all blacklist commands. Therefore, we will know who blacklists whom. Abuse of this will result in either a reduction in the Core of a POB or the removal of the POB itself. You have been warned. Have fun and play nice. RE: New POB feature: Blacklisting - Lythrilux - 01-04-2015 Any chance abuse could be specified? I feel like there's potholes people could unknowingly fall into. Regardless, clarification would be much appreciated anyway. RE: New POB feature: Blacklisting - Alestone - 01-04-2015 How does this tie into factions, Zoners for example, that are not supposed to initiate hostile actions? Nobody is forcing you to use the command. If you don't have/want to use it, just don't? I'm not sure where the problem is. RE: New POB feature: Blacklisting - Remnant - 01-04-2015 I don't really see why 'Not letting you dock' is a hostile interaction. That'd be the opposing parties choice to get insulted and initiate hostilities with the baseowners. I can compare the concept to say.. Having neighbors, but you don't let your neighbor enter your house or room anytime they want. People don't have to do everything you say, and still can be neutral or friendly towards you. Well, I was thinking along the lines of the owner of Hoover, who would open up his base on passerby's for no good reason other than to grief them. To be perfectly honest, this new feature took me by surprise. I haven't had a chance to consider all the possible ways this could be utilized/abused by players, other than the obvious. The Admins will have to talk it out and see if this needs some sort of regulation. I wouldn't be opposed to suggestions from the community too. |
