On a server where I am an Admin, there is a virtual bank. It works like this:
Player creates a bank character and on the forum there is a bank section where the account is shown.
Player can make transfers to an Admin to the bank and the Admin can check on the forum the account name to see the amount in it when player wishes to withdraw cash.....

/givecash solves money transfers.
about codes, armor, nuclear mines, mini razors etc:
1)ask someone trustworthy to help out;
2)keep a storage char in some unpopulated system with a zoner base in it (or Connecticut). Then come to a base where storage char is with other char, drop equipment,dock, quickly switch to storage char, undock and loot stuff.

A new version of the givecash flhook plugin is coming and it covers the banking. It's bound to an existing bank character.

Commands
/givecash <charname> <cash> [anon] = give the cash to <charname>; if the 'anon' parameter is present then the receiving character will not be informed of who sent the transfer.
/setcashcode <code> = set the account code to allow remote access to this characters account; if the code is 'none' then remote access is disabled.
/drawcash <charname> <code> <cash> = draw the cash from <charname> with the <code> set using /setcashcode
/showcash <charname> <code> = show the cash balance for <charname> with the <code> set using /setcashcode

I think that someone or a group of someones should come up with a group that handles these nice transactions. The "Transfer Guild" and to ensure that you are with a True member of the Transfer guild there should be a list. Wouldn't need them for monetary transfers (though people who don't know about the /givecash command still use physical transfer) but they could inform those who don't know about it. For physical transfers the cost would be a value set by the guild or between the Customer and the Transferer.

IF I recall correctly the Angels are there to help in General. The Transfer Guild would simply be members who simple purpose is to provide a clean and Safe way to transfer Items between characters, where players need not worry about the theft of equipment, etc.
