Yeah, definitely, though that would be an event with a predetermined lore outcome. While the fights can definitely be kept fair, the Core would eventually have to retreat (when only 1-2 Order ships are left perhaps the "reinforcement" barges in that is allowed to reengage people that stay near Dabadoru, maybe?). Pyrrhic victory of sorts might be a nice outcome, when both sides experience major losses in the battle.

If the AI could in lore muster up enough power to take Manhattan by force, then that can certainly be arranged. You'd need a lot of ships, 50000 zoner mechanical marines and/or convince [LN] to inRP shift the fleet focus far away from New York. Until then you can dwell in your reverie.
