RE: Installation not completed. - Caconym - 01-27-2015 Why would you delete the sound folder though? If you just want to play quietly, then turn your volume down, and if you need volume because of Teamspeak and stuff, then either look into getting one of the excellent sound packs that are somewhere on the forums (just in case you might like them) or get one of those audio output blocker programs. And isn't there an option to kill the audio in FL itself anyway? Some of us experience a bug where the internal audio levels of freelancer will suddenly restore to max, even if you set it to low or zero. RE: Installation not completed. - Caconym - 01-27-2015 In that case, why delete the sound folders? Just rename the stuff inside - you still have the files, and can change the names back when you need them. RE: Installation not completed. - Gypsie Skripto - 01-27-2015 Could you expand on that? Should I rename the sounds folder you say? RE: Installation not completed. - Caconym - 01-27-2015 Pretty much, yeah. Since the sound folder itself is the problem, instead of deleting it, why not just rename it to something plain and simple like "Renamed Sound Folder - Rename to (put old name here so that you can change it back in case you forgot it)"; like that, the game misses it same as if it was deleted, but keeps the data itself. Alternatively, you can do the same thing with individual sound files in case you like part of the music but not another. RE: Installation not completed. - Gypsie Skripto - 01-29-2015 Neat.
