You can set it to mouse flight and wiggle around the mouse a little, and the shaking will stop.
Still a crappy ship - Aquilon would have been a better choice, or no cap at all.

Go thru asteroids in cockpit view it helps a lil.

I flew a Neph someone gave me when I first started all the way from O-74 to Baffin, then into Kansas using JHs. I didn't know the /stuck command was a thing at the time either, so that wasn't used the entire time.
I gave that ship away.

Would slowing their cruise speed help stop the jerking? Would be better if those large ships cruised slowed anyway.

I don't know what you're talking about Marburg, the fact that the ship has a weird hitbox that means that you can actually get asteroids stuck between pieces of your ship as well as the ship being so cartoonishly large that you can't help but run into asteroids does not change the fact that the Nephilim is the best ship bar none.
The fact that my most typed line of text in the time I had one was /stuck is irrelevant.
