Evidently, you have not seen what a half-decent pilot can do with a RH bomber. And it *was* quite usual having RH cruisers, and even battleships roaming around NY even weeks after the embargo was put in place.

PS: Errr... freighters? That ban forbids only military ships.

Well, as a matter of fact, I've seen some indies making Humpbacks turn back (no, they weren't breaking the embargo on goods), I told them I had some serious doubts about that, but then I started wondering myself, that was a while ago though, they might have changed their policy.

@ the bolded text: If you're flying anything of the Rheinland Police/Military line, expect oposition inside of Liberty. If you're flying anything from the Rheinland Police line and aren't Rheinland Federal Police IDed or anything inside the Rheinland Miltary line and aren't Rheinland Military IDed, expect oposition inside of Rheinland.

I'd take it that transports are stopped for a different reason altogether: the embargo between the two Houses.

EDIT: I can't say anything for the Libertonian characters or the independent Rheinland lawfuls, but the [RM] player faction characters are instructed to stop any of the following:
  1. Liberty Police/Navy IDed ships;
  2. Liberty Police/Navy tagged, generic IDed ships (for sanity reasons, Liberty Police tagged, non-RPing transports are ignored);
  3. Any Liberty Police/Navy ship (model) regardless of the ID;
  4. Transports disrespecting the trade embargo.

I have never turned away a freighter or transport from Rhienland unless it was carrying Rhienland goods.

I'm not saying you have, I just wanted the Liberty officials to know that I've seen some people making them turn back for no apparent reason:sleep:

It's true, some independants (and even LN) have done so since the embargo was put in place. It's a relative common mistake; i try to correct it whenever i'm able, but i'm not always around to help indies/new LN/LSF with current law situation.

Just try to politely explain them (locally or privately) that they are wrong, and point them to the thread.

Well its overdone call it "Tanks" since you cant get anything lighter... I would call a GB tank... But not Trade vesels, possibly fighters...

A single RH bomber could take out a navy gunboat/cruiser.

A single RH VHF could easily unshield-nuke/torp/razor a passing by navy fighter (and that tactic has been attempted by mercenaries and the like).

If they are banned it's because they can really be dangerous.

And okay, they'er no tanks. Would you let someone with full enemy battle armor, badges, weapons, etc, get next to your military and civilian critical areas, when you're one step from war?

I just say that you should ban Rheinland pilots, not random people ( Unless they are using GB or bigger, then it IS warship )... Why should FL IFF/ID throw nukes on you anyway. Not even mentioning that RH VHF cant do much aginst 15 Liberty battleships. (Whoops that spipped out, no offense)

Just once again to the first argument... You know VHF which cant do that actually? If you think about it, "tank" is the smallest ship in FL.

EDIT: Sorry, but the conflict is getting... boring. Noone does anything, just racing in who can make more embargos. And yeah, in those days, they are making less and less sense.

Every VHF can do so. But it's more likely that a minion of an enemy nation will do it, not a random civilian, right? And considering how strict is RM with their military grade ships sale, if you have a RH combat ship, you're quite friendly with them. Beeing friendly with them means you're "not-that-friendly" with us.
