The Corsairs aren't rich. They survive. The Outcasts make so much off Cardamine that they barely pirate anymore, only having fighter wings to protect their drug empire.

Corsairs have an entire military fleet, how did you skip that fact? They have gunboats, cruisers, and dreadnaughts, plus VHF's and Bombers. They're likely close to as powerful, militarily, as any house navy or military group. Plus, they're allied with The Order, who are rumored to be the ones MAKING all of these high-tech weapons, equipment, and armor upgrades.
If you want to complain about bad RP in favor of pvp whoring, complain about all the non-Order players using supernovas, light mortars, and battle razors =P

BTW, I wouldnt mind if things were changed so gunboats didnt have the cargo space to carry top-level cap armor upgrades (especially gunboats like the BH gunship).
Simply make the top 3-4 capital ship armor upgrades take more cargo space than any gunboats have, so they're 'forced' into using 2.5x or lower.

It's irritating to me that you -need- to power trade for a week straight to buy that uber Mk-8 armor so you can stand a chance against that bloody Hunter who's been chasing you around.

We are rapidly approaching the point where we will start to see posts like, "I fly a Patriot but I realize it turns way better than a Mule--am I able to fully use the turn capability without being oorp? Should I fly slowly since the silhouette is so small when fighting a bigger ships so they have a better chance of hitting me?
