Sirius systems - kiggles - 07-07-2006 You make a good point Alpha. I must ask Hyperwave why do you want to make your own Bretonian faction why not just join the SF? Kiggles  Sirius systems - Hyperwave22 - 07-07-2006 Kiggles, u bring up a good point here. The reason i had started thinking about creating my own faction would be because LOS kind of died out. The dealer just dissapeared. I guess I had not thought of joining your faction, but now that you say it, its a good idea. So if you're open to having new member, I'll gladly join your clan w/ okay from you. Sirius systems - kiggles - 07-07-2006 Somtimes the ovious thing evade us and we yets need a reminder  Oh and yes you are welcome to join :D Kiggles  Sirius systems - Nightfall - 07-08-2006 I've seen him reading the forums (The Dealer) Sirius systems - Hyperwave22 - 07-08-2006 i noticed that too, but i haven't been able to contact or get in touch w/ him. Sirius systems - Assassin Twin - 07-08-2006 Alpha 429,Jul 7 2006, 02:29 PM Wrote:Technically Kiggles if hyperwave wants to be Bretonia police then he can however to maintain RP several rules would have to be followed by both clans such as: This is not necessarily true. In my country we are at war, but our police are at home doing their job. Not over fighting the war. But they would be locked in a very secure alliance, whether they like it or not. It is an intersting point. Sirius systems - Alpha 429 - 07-08-2006 i see what you mean Assassin twin but if for example one of the cities in your country were attacked and enemy forces entered the city it would be safe to assume that the police would help the army in defending and killing the enemy soliders so even though the police remain at home to maintain order they are also still at war with the enemy so if the SF was at war the police may not take part i8n the fights against the enemy over sirius but if there was a battle in Bretonia then they would fight with the SF. Sirius systems - Kane - 07-08-2006 There is also another point one could bring up about police factions. Due to the fact that they are police and not the navy they would have a little more restrictions on ships... Such as generaly only using the Mk II house light fighter (Who's name I have forgotten... Hussar, or something, right?) and possibly a gunboat or two. You don't see our police running around with M16's, or Abrams tanks, do you? But, since this problem seems to have been solved, the above is a moot point. Sirius systems - Caribe - 07-09-2006 Actually Kane that depends on the country your in. For example in a country where the civilians are almost all armed then the police actually do go around with M16s (I got proof). And yes basicaly the police would be more peaceful in the matter that they will only be used as home defense if the attackers manage to break through the navys defenses so it would be alot harder to take a terriotry. Sirius systems - Hyperwave22 - 07-09-2006 Caribe has a point, and technically, not all countries are doing well enough in which they don't have military vehicles driving around. However, in the ones that are doing well w/ the police have hybrids of military vehicles, usually of less power. In the states there is an organization that is funded by national taxes that do have wartime vehicles, just in smaller numbers (the equivelant to LSF in a sense). They mainly operate in their own country, thusly, under my consideration, they closer to police. If I had chosen to be the police, i could probably have a chance to have battlehships, but probably only a small part of the clan could own them. Depending on the size of the clan, it could have lots of battleships or a little. The problem is pretty much solved though, so no more worry. |
