For example ... Or what do you mean Pirate ID have ZOI everywhere, it's wrong cause when you see a trade ship online in rays and your in New Berlin, you take 2 jump holes and you are there, that isn't right, Secondly it will destroy trade economy RE: Pirate System - Discussion - Stefan_Steinar - 04-04-2015 you got a point but there shouldnt be a connection to housespace you know i already got that its more like o3 tau29 or some like that trading is a problem but would it be limited for Pirate ID corsair ID and so on it could work i think they dont fly trains usually... to all who dont like that... at least i have suggestion for indies RE: Pirate System - Discussion - Sabru - 04-04-2015 you cant really limit a system for IDs without adding lines to every ID that could or could not go there. We've got enough systems as is. we dont need anymore. thats putting aside the work required to create this fictional system by the devs. and trying to make this an 'indies vs factions' thing is just plain stupid. RE: Pirate System - Discussion - Gondoros - 04-04-2015 First of all freelancers are not unlawfull, so they have no problem with pirates docking at their bases. You love to pirate but don't like using freeports ? okay, try these systems : Coronado: Gives you access to the Taus, Bretonis, Liberty Koeln: Gives you access to the Omegas, Bretonia (only a couple of systems away), Rheinland Sigam 13 : Gives you access to Rheinalnd , Sigams (obviously), Kusari, Omicrons You get the picture. Pirates are in fact pretty much freelancers and are welcome to dock on freelancer bases. Furthermore all unlawfulls as far as I know, are welcome to dock at freelancer bases. So pirates and other unlawfulls don't really need a separate system for them to meet?!!?! Like someone already mentioned, there are a lot of systems already, we don't need more. We barely use the ones existing now. Edit: also let's not make this an indies VS officials thing, because , believe it or not all members of any official faction, also have indie chars, like all of them. So no one wants to hurt indies here. RE: Pirate System - Discussion - Misfit - 04-04-2015 Pirates and generally "bad people" (whatever that means) already have places they can dock and interact with other pirates or "bad people". These places are called Freeports, Junker bases and Freelancer stations. There's really no need for there to be a whole restricted system that makes no inRP sense just for "bad people" and stuff. RE: Pirate System - Discussion - SnakeLancerHaven - 04-04-2015 Eh... A Pirate Haven idea was ok and considerable but the jumphole connections is just weird :/ Nah. speaking of Cayman, Cayman has this Red / Yellow / Orange color that looks very much like Fire and Lava, perfect for Slavers / Pirates Haven (maybe even SMugglers), a Slaves hell. A place where no slave, no prisoner want to be in. But other than that, the Connections would make that system OP. Not to mention how many Systems got nerfed for exactly this reason (looks at Omicron Lambda). It wont happen, sadly. RE: Pirate System - Discussion - Lythrilux - 04-04-2015 I think people overestimate the usefulness of a system like this. Sure, it'd be cool to have in, but in the end it'd probably end up never being used. RE: Pirate System - Discussion - Cocaine - 04-04-2015 Pirates shouldn't have their own system/bases. First off, Being a pirate doesn't mean to be allied too every single Pirate. They can easily be against each other. It'd be a bit stupid, when two rivals claim to be the owner of the same Base. What would Pirates do in their System? Logically, Pirates won't be able to defend their System from Lawfuls raids. And of course, Lawfuls will have to make raids and destroy their RE: Pirate System - Discussion - SnakeLancerHaven - 04-04-2015 (04-04-2015, 10:55 AM)Cocaine Wrote: Pirates shouldn't have their own system/bases. Explain me the logic of the Sins of a Solar Empire Pirates pls. They have secret Bases located too which is heavily guarded. |
