On their way back to the Nagasaki, the Kobe, commandeered by Mori Tsuzumi-Chusa gets spotted by two blood dragon scouts.
Although intercepted, the Dragons manage to get a transmission to the neighboring Rishiri system.
Three fighters respond and predict that the Kobe will move through Tottori, to avoid further dragon attacks. They ambush the convoy at the Jumphole, causing a battle to ensue.
In the cause of the battle, every dragon pilot gets shot down, although a civil ferry is able to pick their pods up. In their last breath, the Katanas of the Blood dragons destroy the radiation-damaged Kobe.
Consequences:
The loss of the Kobe causes the 343rd to look for further options to supply themselves with fuel or get some transports that are able to ship goods through the Tau Corridor.
The loss of five fighters, however, was a costly victory for the Blood dragons.
With the Exile force now running completely on reserves, more daring assaults could be the result.
