Seen it earlier.
Apart from it having zero (story) content, it looks fancy. Just like most new trailers.
I had shivers too, seeing how hard Disney tries to reach hardcore fans with showing Han Solo, triggereing nostalgic feelings. Promising the "good old times". And then I had shivers, knowing that they can never fulfill that promise.

Time has no mercy. Actors are soo old now, to be honest I rised on their I-III Episodes. Haven't seen the VIIth, but after the exams prolly.

Each of the originals was awesome. I watched a trailer for this one earlier today. It looks amazing. Very amazing. Looks like it is going to be pretty good. I love the new Storm Troopers armor. It looks awesome. Definitely an upgrade from the old ones.

Yeah I'm in this boat too. Fool me once, shame on you...fool me twice, shame on me. People have a tendency to eat up whatever an official logo gets slapped on (new star trek comes to mind).
I'm also extremely put off that they ditched the extended universe for which I've only sank about 20 years of my life into. No biggie, JJ Abrams doesn't even like this stuff so its easier to wipe it and start over, i'm surprised its not an 'alternate timeline'. I guess its easier this time to delete the past than try to over-write it with a new timeline, all of which are simply tactics to smooth over the weak plot and enormous holes in the lore.

That being said, it's Star Wars, and even if that which we love is no longer considered canon (LONG LIVE THE EU), it's still Star Wars, and I'd rather have it still around than not at all.
Besides, at least some of the old authors are continuing to write (Needs more Zahn)

Are we really gonna start inserting random black people in Starwars films just for the sake of race equality or something? S.L.Jackson was more than enough. That guy looks completely out of place and, literally, the only thing we saw from him so far is him taking off his helmet and doing this expression and sweating a lot. Why.
