Let conn just be conn! A place to fight to move equipment and if you had a bad day: fly to conn make some PvP just to take out on. So please NO.

It's funny how you people keep crying about removing conn when there is an average of 50-80 people daily out of which 3-6 are in conn some of them just being afk, chilling, or

changing equipment, of course training aswell. It's true that there are more people in conn in the weekends, but the number of players increase aswell, so other parts are populated

too. I'd say you start actually complaining about the other 50 useless systems or how many the hell are, instead of crying to remove an actually useful one. You know... we don't

need 200 over systems for such a small community. Think about it

No.
People who are in Conn would not log outside because they do not want to fly around, look for interaction but look for pvp. That's okay. Also: you will not find many fights outside of conn where you can talk to a random player and ask him for help. It will always be competition. A platform for learning pvp would cease to exist.

tldr: no

What's so bad about Conn to make anyone thinking about removing it?

RE: Trial - The Removal of Conn - Tarator - 04-22-2015

If you'd make a trial for removing conn, you should also consider making a trial for removing the rules for mandatory RP as opposed to that, and it would make sense but it would be still.... a nonsense, since obviously, this server survives mainly on RP.

There are people who like pvp and those who like extensive RP and of course there are the people who like both, do not ruin the balance between the three groups.

A big no from here.

Roleplay is foreplay for a lot of fighter factions. Armed forces, pirates, bounty hunters, escorts and more.
It is an RP server but fighting is also essential part of it.
I found it to be extremly usefull for constantly duel good players and improve.
Which could be done outside of conn as well but with a lot less effectiveness.
I belive it is essential to satisfy the needs of players who want to improve they fighting skills, so they can be better at their role.

Remove Conn so people will fly outside Conn
Remove other servers so people will play in ours
Remove other mods so people will play Discovery
Remove other games so people will play FL

Shrink Sirius. Focus on making systems outside Conn more attractive to players.

Naah. Don't think a trial will achieve anything.
Don't see how it would be interesting either. All that happens is the people who normally go there, don't log. VERY interesting...

There are more useless systems that needs to be removed, Conn is not one of them atm. Besides, it always saves time for quick equipment transfer and training session. So - nope.

This. In fact, people who believe it'll increase population in non-Connecticut systems may find that the exact opposite might just happen. I often (used to) begin a Freelancer session by logging in a ship docked in Connecticut, having a quick fight (or not) and then noticing that something interesting was going on in some random system. Then, I'd log into an appropriate ship and head there. If not for Connecticut, I probably would've just... queued for a Dota match.
