I guess common sense in the community points out that even without the legal implications, Nazi reenactment or impersonation is not something desirable, in or out of roleplay.
Get some grey uniforms and some iron crosses. Get some prussian themed military organization. Get some Helghast Empire vibes or whatever. Just please, no overtly nazi stuff.

Yes, let's make illegal all historical enactments. In fact, why don't we ban discussion of World War 2 altogether? If we teach about Nazi Germany in school, we might make our kids Nazi!
This ultra-sensitivity is just silly - In particular, 1984 RP in the sandbox game Garry's Mod is a popular WW2-themed in-game roleplay, and nobody acts morally indignant and uptight over it. No game hosting company is going to kick an entire MMORPG out of their business because of a few players role playing. You do realize they don't care that much, right?
That doesn't even get into the fact that you believe merely referencing WW2 justifies what happened. You are naive.
That said, if the community doesn't consider it mature enough to handle adult topics like racism, sex, genocide, and violence, the community has a right to disallow those topics. But please don't act as if the government will kick down your door for it.

On the other hand, Freelancer has stigma of real-life comparisons and homages. Evil Chancellor in a German-origin house... Hmmmmmm... What does it remind me... Yet the opposition in Rheinland is Socialist - think over about it. Xenos are also very racist, in a Liberty, an American-origined house. Doesn't that sound a bit like Triple K?
Disco and Freelancer have and will have that one problem it is based after nationalities and many things are repeated both by Disco developers and the ones who created Freelancer and it's vanillia socio-political background.
[size=large]On the other hand, it might be pretty sensitive that Bretonia (obviously English) might soon counterattack Gallia (obviously France). How about that? Won't that be taken as an insult, since France and UK had a rather troubled past and still have a grudge?[size]

Nice catch. Yeah, we should definitely retcon that too. In fact, war involves people dying, right? Someone might be sensitive to death.

ps. all about racesism is distastefull in my opinion but i dont care if somewone uses the military talks of the wehrmacht as long its not the inhuman hate speeches they had in the propaganda . also dont use stuff like the "hakenkreuz" it does gives me a bad chill, invent something new like they did for the helgast who obvious are Space nazi's in disguse
