RE: Contraband Near New York - Techpriest - 05-27-2015 Quote:Faction Right 5. Official player factions may request that the reputation of a player's ship be changed to hostile with respect to their NPC faction. These requests must be posted within the Player Requests subforum, and include link(s) to valid forum roleplay, as well as actual interaction between the character and the official faction. In case of IDs with multiple official factions, this right can only be used if it has support of every official faction of the ID, but in case of disagreement between the factions involved, they can post an appeal to the administrators to review the situation and come to a decision. tl;dr: Official factions may submit rephacks, so that the character involved will always be hostile. Meaning if you refuse to listen to the LPI officer and he manages to get good screenshots of your cargo and your name. You could possibility be FR5ed and rephacked hostile by all Liberty authorities. This can be circumvented through playing it with RP, by deciding to listen to the LPI and pay a fine, etc.. RE: Contraband Near New York - DragonLancer - 05-27-2015 By the way... Talking to a LPI officer should include the offer of a bribe. RE: Contraband Near New York - Techpriest - 05-27-2015 You say bribe. I say fine. Whatever you prefer. RE: Contraband Near New York - DragonLancer - 05-27-2015 Well I didn't say that in particular: 'My bad officer, sir. I'll gladly pay that extended fine of - uhmm - 10%, si? Oh, my *coughs* company would be interested in further information of that strange company...' See - opportunities
