Ben waits and listens intently, her accent making it...difficult to translate it into something he would understand. As she finished 'scanning' the papers and images he had brought with him he continued on speaking, answering what he could as they moved along.
"The Corsair Fleet while it is vast is not without it's weaknesses, it is constantly being harassed by multiple foes onroute to the front lines such as in Omega-47 and 41. Not to mention with their losses in the Omicrons they are likely attempting to retake the ground they lost thus further diverting resources away from our theatre of combat.
A concentrated assault should be able to either destroy the Fes Battlegroup or force it to flee out of the system in order to avoid encirclement and thus it's demise. However all we need is to remove their ability to wage war in Omega-49 in order to open up the path and ensure operational success against the Reaper remnants of Cayman."
When she made mention of JiangXi and the Coalition Marines he raised an eyebrow all so slightly as he listened, not something he expected to hear, but it was still something to explore, any final decisions would have to be ratified by the State Duma in the end however.
"The Coalition Marines are the pride of the Coalition's Revolutionary Army, Marines are sent to JiangXi whose current woes are actually a boon when it comes to training in a hostile environment...It is so grueling that Coalition Pilots who succeed in the Trials of JiangXi are seen as honorary Marines by the Corps...Still I see no reason why the Molly's own ground forces shouldn't experience our Marine Corps training first hand. As for aiding our economy, imports of resources is always welcome as a large majority of all imports tend to go directly to the war effort against the Houses, Corsairs and other foes who seek to destroy us. I will run it by the State Duma but I believe it will pass unanimously due to my...Popularity amongst the Coalition citizenry." At the last part he chuckles, shaking his head slightly in amusement.
" In any case the Coalition plans to make a strike against the Fes Battlegroup in force, drawing upon the majority of our reserves in order to make the push, the Republic of Dublin would be supplementing our Fighter Corps and ensuring that the Fes' fighter screen is pre-occupied as our capital ships start to harass the battlegroup. With enough pressure the Corsair Empire will be forced to pull out of the system or their pride will demand they fight to the bitter end. It all depends on how badly the fools wish to live I suppose."
When she offered him a drink he shook his head all so slightly, his tone is polite as he spoke.
"I am fine thank you for the offer."
