Ah, if that's what he means:

Quote:/restart RhCivilian
buy Recruit ID
fly to the freeport in Bering, get a Liberty Rogues bribe

(OPTIONAL)
fly to Rochester Base, get a Junker double bribe
fly to the Zoner base in Penny, get a Zoner double bribe
/droprep
fly to Barrier Gate Station, get a Freelancer double bribe
/droprep
(OPTIONAL END)

fly to Languedoc, Lodeve Space Port, get either a Gallic Brigand or Maquis bribe
get the Pirate ID wherever
get the Pirate IFF via the command

congratulations, you have an as neutral/friendly Pirate ID'd ship as possible in a very easy way! Wink

But yeah, kinda complicated, I know. That's why I wouldn't mind a generic Pirate restart command - but that above is a workaround for the time being. Works also if you want an easy way to make an (almost) neutral Freelancer.

I think that proposition is kind of flawled. As far as I remember, Pirate ID forces certain unlawful factions to be no-dock or even hostile - as I wrote before, bribe are useless both before and after you put rephacking Pirate ID onto ship.

It's not flawed. I didn't say it removes the rephacks. But it gets you pretty much every NON-REPHACKED faction neutral or friendly.

I know this, I just pointed out that certain factions, for a certain reason, are rephacked when they shouldn't - at least in my opinion.

It would be nice to ask devs to provide the list which unlawful factions are not rephacked on the Pirate ID, because it is a great unknown unless you try to rephack a faction - then you are pretty surprised upon undock..

Not a dev, but hey.

Rephacks are the following:

Kudos to the Lane Hackers and whoever (Nicole Hunter?) is responsible for this and the other tools on the site btw, very helpful.

I disagree with that list - Farmers Alliance were rephacked to the Pirate ID last time I had it. The Council was also rephacked to that ID.

Other than that, useful as hell.

hmmm so basically a voting on my suggestion would be cool but i dont know how to do that...

i just want to know if the community wants or not and maybe well get it

Pretty sure you are wrong here or it was a long long long time ago since I'm almost certain that those factions aren't rephacked and I fly Pirate ID'd ships since over a year and the only rephack which changed was the former no-dock rephack with Rogues afaik. Gonna test it right now to be sure.

---

Restarted as Farmer, flew to Tau 37, switched to Pirate ID, undocked, Farmers reputation was still full. It's not hacked.
Restarted as Council, flew to the Perpignan Spaceport, switched to Pirate ID, undocked, Council reputation was still full. Also, not rephacked.

RE: Suggestion for a new restart command - Fluffyball - 07-08-2015

My bad then. I used Pirate ID 2 months ago.

RE: Suggestion for a new restart command - Eva Falk - 07-09-2015

maybe the devs and admins think about Pirate ID once again and about its nerfs and so on

would be great
